Thanks for the reminder, I forgot to add it. On release I thought its value mostly comes from how it easily gets kills anyway and dying doesn’t matter much but, as you say, surviving to return to the ghost form is important and the sheer power level is crazy that it justifies HP boosting. Mantiferno is one of the few squishy legendaries worth HP boosting and I put it in A tier. I think Dameule is in a similar category. S tier feels a bit high, but of course it’s a stronger monster than the other ones in that tier.
Regarding this, we appreciate KD’s approach, since not all new or mid-level players have the right collection or enough knowledge to play certain monsters. For example, Rozaliz is S tier in the hands of top players, but she has a higher learning curve compared to most other S tier monsters on the tier list, which can still perform very well even without an optimal setup.
That being said, @Coltraz and @squinty1880 Squinty are actually working on another tier list that takes monster combinations into account, ranking monsters based on their optimal setups. Their list will also include some teambuilding guides and focus on newly released Mythic monsters to provide firsthand feedback.
We believe it will offer a different perspective from the current tier list we have, and both can coexist to give players more valuable information.
I am very excited to see this! If they pull it off, it should be a great thing for the community. There’s an infinite amount of words I could share about the monsters that I have to leave out viewpoints like this, so it’s definitely a gap they can fill.
Everyone has their bias and different experiences. Regardless of whether you agree with their points, these guys have experienced playing with all the monsters so with their tier list we’ll get to benefit from their unique insight.
I mean let’s be honest… everyone disagrees with at least part of what I do here in this tier list. It’s not meant to be the “correct” ranking or anything. It’s just me trying my best to provide good insight and create a helpful resource for the community to take into account and develop their own perspective.
Maybe reading Coltraz’s thoughts will be useless for some people, but I reckon there’s a lot I can learn from seeing what he has to say on how mythics play with one another.
The game does have numerous beasts that require substantial collection efforts to unlock, or those only viable in specific scenarios. However, once players develop effective applications for these combinations, they tend to get quickly nerfed - precisely because if such synergies become meta-defining, their power level must inherently be excessive (if they weren’t powerful enough, nobody would play them in the first place). Currently, most S-tier or A-tier beasts can secure instant eliminations or battlefield control the moment they act. This has created an environment where top-tier teams obsessively prioritize initiative priority above all else, which is the true source of oppression reflected in this tier list
I will only rank those with S tier and above from the missing
S+ Astra, albino, tengoku, aello, pandora
S charybida, carmellete, nepyths. Van sith, medusa, eve
S- vespia, ayna,
Leria ranks soo high because she is the best setup monster in the game currently, she setup

Carmellete for guardian or drem ender
