So i hatched a Christine (Orca Mythic) 2 months ago and now shes in a special egg with Bloomeluga.
Is it worth hatching now trying to get an awakened mythic or is it more worth waiting for festival eggs?
I have 220 gems right now.

How many copies of Christine do you have? Because to have any kind of realistic shot of hatching multiple copies, you would need over 1000 gems.
I suggest you save your gems until you have 500. Then you can benefit from the luck shrine and gain rolls for free. Set 500 as your new zero.
makes sense , i thought of that too because you always can roll shrine and i only have one copy of christine rn sadly . so you think every time when shrine is up i should get ez free gems and if there is eggs i like i should get them regardlessly of festival or not right ?
You would need an average of ~1600 gems to get three shards for christine and ~2133 gems to get four shards for christine.
I only need one more shard to awaken Christine and I didn’t even bother to hatch because she works perfectly fine in 2nd form.
My suggestion is if you are not a whale/collector, save your gems and aim for mythics that truly benefit when awakened (ex. Sakuralisk, Y Draig)
And also anniversary is coming this mid October, the mythic guaranteed in every 10th pack thing might be coming back, so save your gems for that.
What is your opinion about Don Rilla? I was planning on using my gems to get it. It works well in 2nd form and is useful in OoO setup. Is there need to awaken it?
Don rilla is great but you should save your gems for the anniversary
Tbf anniversary egg will be much less worth now.
Those monsters will end up on the semi/limited list anyways. It’s time for the niche underdogs to shine.
Not to mention they also undergo at least one or two inevitable nerfs
