Monsters in stealth should not be hit by entrance passives that effect multiple monsters

Something else that’s very harsh is having Soulstealer sleep three monsters with one sleep😁

Stealth is not great and those moves make it even harder to setup,specially angelion that thing offers soo much for low risk

I’m a big fan of stealth and like the way it works. It’s strong and making it avoid passives would make it too strong. Camouflage is already one of the best defensive passives in the game, it would be crazy if it ignored even more stuff.

Purifying mist is getting used a lot right now and with good reason… it’s incredibly strong to purify your team and prevent them from being swept more than one at a time. It often causes the enemy team to waste moves removing the stealth. I don’t think it needs any more power.

Btw I don’t think there’s any “inconsistency” with what removes stealth / gets through it. Anything that targets multiple monsters on your team will not hit stealthed monsters and will instead remove the stealth, whether that be damage or not. Entrance passives like shocking or toxic don’t target anything, whereas explosive revenge is an attack from Staticsphere when it dies that targets your whole field.

The only thing I find funny is when you use attacks that don’t deal damage because the single-target variant won’t remove stealth but the multiple-target variant will. E.g. sleep / sleep double. However, this does make sense because stealth gets removed when the monster is damaged or targeted by a multi-hitting attack.

I would love it if stealth protected your own monsters from Tezca’s devastate. That would make Tezca useful

You did purifying mist, & killed one enemy,
Bane enters & then penguinator has its turn ,
It does slayerbane all.
What do you think will happen ?

But it doesn’t change the fact that it’s a passive skill. On kiwis post he described that stealth blocks active skills. Imo static should ignore stealth and camo

There should be backdrop for that kitty bomb,
They buffed its damage so having a counter to it, makes it balanced

Yeah I get that it’s confusing. The reason why Staticsphere is designed as an attack coming from Staticsphere is so that it still triggers revenges on the monsters it hits. That’s also how I realised it must be an attack coming from the monster. If it was a passive damage dealt to all the opposing team it would not trigger revenges and hit through stealth… a bit too powerful I guess.

Statissphere’s passive is still a passive. Doesn’t matter what spin you put on it. It’s listed as a passive. If stealth effects it and doesn’t effect other passives that is inconsistent.

I get how it works it’s just that I don’t agree. But meh not the end of the world. I think stealth is certainly not overpowered would be nice if it prevented all attacks that target multiple monsters, but heck that’s just my view…Nice to see different viewpoints anyway.

It would open up LOTS of ways to protect yourself from things in a too powerful way. Purifying mist could become the new way to protect your team from stun, especially in PvE. Just imagine how many monsters that will change and how monster monsters with entrances/revenges that get nerfed because of it.

If stealth was a particular, closed strategy that’s specific and revolves around certain monsters like the way mortar monsters all have mortar moves then you can buff/nerf them as a whole like that. However, stealth is part of a variety of monsters which are already involved in lots of strong strategies. You can’t buff or nerf it without changing lots of things too much.
