šŸ’” Monster Skill/Suggestion Box šŸ’”

Did anybody else notice the fact that Archseraph (monster n°706) and Revenatus (monster n°709) are VERY, VERY similar, and have opposite elements?

Just a quick reminder, even though probably not necessary:

Archseraph is a 5ā˜… Light element monster. He belongs to the Stunning Entrance/Heal All archetype, along with Thordragon and, formerly, Atlanteon
Revenatus is a 5ā˜… Dark element monster. He belongs to the Twin Death Sentence archetype, along with Deucalizon, Lunaverios, Lavamander, Ragnawolf and, formerly, Arborgias (praise be, Deathstroke machine). He has Stun Immunity.

Now, onto the actual dumb idea: a 6ā˜… monster which requires both Archseraph and Revenatus as ingredients, along with random stuff I don’t care.

Design (I am literally unable to draw feathered wings):

Name: Reveraph
Stars: 6ā˜…
Element: Light
Statline: Balanced
Speed: around 70%

MOVESET: ACTIVE SKILLS

Bloodlust (130 TU)
SOLO Death Sentence: the targeted enemy dies after 130sec, if this unit is still on the battlefield (1 use, 130 TU).
SOLO Shielding Stealth: applies stealth and a shield to itself (130 TU).
SOLO Purify All (50 TU)

SECRET SKILL - Ethereal Rupture: deals medium damage to all enemies, massive damage if one of them is Light or Dark element. Can only be used after 150 sec from the first turn.

MOVESET: PASSIVE SKILLS

Seraph’s Legacy: when this unit gets stunned it also increases the seconds of the enemy who stunned it by a corresponding amount. When this unit gets removed from the battlefield but not killed, the monster who removed it gets knocked back at the end of its team.
Revenant’s Blood: This unit’s attacks ignore Hold Ground and Shields of targets whose kill count is not zero. If this unit spends 300 seconds from his first turn without getting a kill, it will instantly die.

Can’t have a monster with only SOLO skills, otherwise if you pair him with a monster with his own element he’ll block the match.

And wouldn’t that be epic?

Just kidding, It came to my mind too a bit after posting it and I thought that, should it happen, the monster should skip forcefully, as when decision time runs out in PvP. Acknowledging this, I changed his element from dark to light, because there are no light element token monsters (yet), therefore the enemy can’t purposefully shut him down without sleeping or stunning him.

So everytime that monster gets a turn without access to SOLO, both players are forced to wait 30 seconds?

This is a terrible idea.

Hahahahahahah nooooo, I meant the monster gets instantly thrown at the end of the turn line. I didn’t say that it had to happen exactly like in PvP, just what happens AFTER the time runs out!

(Or perhaps you were ironic?)

I wasn’t.

The game needs rules, so if you don’t want the 2 players to wait you’ll have to add a Passive that forces skip. If every monster worked with his own cases the game performance would suffer greatly.

You’re right about this one… Perhaps I can remove one restriction.

Screw everything, just a freaking monolith

Design:

Name: Hexalith
Element: Holy
Rarity: 6ā˜…
Speed: 25%
Statline: balanced

MOVESET: ACTIVE SKILLS

Time Beam: deals massive damage to an enemy with high TU, but cannot bring it to less than 1 HP (130 TU).
Stun Beam: deals small damage and stuns an enemy for 150sec, but cannot bring it to less than 1 HP (130 TU).
Sweeping Beam: deals massive damage to all enemies and all teammates, but cannot bring them to less than 1 HP. Can only be used after 200 sec. (1 use, 100 TU)
Barrier Charge: reduces the next damage received by 50% of current HP (70 TU).

SECRET SKILL - Overheal: this skill increases an ally’s maximum HP by 30% and fully heals them. Can only be used to monsters whose HP is less than 15% (30 TU).

MOVESET: PASSIVE SKILLS

Overbursting Energy: this monster is immune to sleep and stun, but cannot be given turns via active skills.

He can’t kill anyone

I like it. My poison would love it.

That’s absolutely true. He would negate all enemy revenge skills, in a poison team!

No like I mean, if he’s the last monster, he physically can’t kill anyone

Yes, I know. It’s part of his weaknesses, together with poison and piercing moves. If he gets knocked back, you’d better have some Switch Places ready.

I got my own idea too!

Element: Holy
Legendary, Speed: 99%
Stats: standard attack

Active Skills:

  • Killer… Killer (70tu, this move deals critical damage to any monster with a killer move, or it’s double target version)
  • Finishing Snap
  • Shield Steal
  • SOLO Double Bloodthrist

Secret Skill:

  • RAW Stealthbreak (2 cost)

Passive Skills:

  • Assassin’s Veil (this monster gains a 30% boost to his attack and defense on his first kill, and camuflage on his second)
  • Stun Immunity

Sounds awesome! Is he meant to be like a rogue/assassin? His moveset reminds me of one…
With his speed, he would surely be the HARDEST counter to Twinkillers/Cyclozar/etc. FLs… This could counterbalance the recent protector nerf.

Killer Killer might be the best skill name ever seen

Perhaps Assassin’s Veil stat boost should be more lenient, like 50% to attack only or 25% to both stats.

Ok, so these next two monsters were based off of the dream I had last night were the devs released a special festival celebrating high school or something along those lines. I tried to replicate the featured monsters as best as I could, so I hope you like the product of my fever dreams.

Name: Owtheedge (A fedora-wearing, trenchcoat wearing, edgy teenager with facial scars and dual katanas.)
Element: Shadow
Stars: 7
Cost: 14-17
Atk/Def: Standard Defense
Speed: 40%

Moves (Awakened):
Dual Power Slash (200sec)
Jock Crusher (130tu) (This move targets one enemy. It deals critical damage if the targets Attack is higher than its Defense.)
RAW Bloodfrenzy (150sec) (This move targets one enemy. It deals damage and ignores Hold Ground and Shields. This attack deals critical damage if this monster has 3 kills.)
M’lady (3 Uses) (50sec) (This move targets one female monster on your field (Brynhildr, Deviladus, Voidress ect.) It purifies and fully heals them before applying Stealth, Shield and Overwatch to the ally.)

Moves (Unawakened):

Power Slash
Jock Crusher
RAW Bloodthirst
M’Lady

Secret Skill: Internet Stardom (70tu) (This move targets an ally. Both it and this monster get a turn and have Overwatch applied to them. This skill cannot be used until after 150 seconds have passed since this monster’s first turn.)

Passives:
Stun Immunity (Becomes Converter upon awakening)
Harden Carapace

Name: Jockster (A cyborg-football player with a rocket launcher on its right shoulder. Its football is a large grenade on the verge of exploding.)

Atk/Def: Standard Attack
Speed: 55%

Moves (Awakened):
Earthshaker (130tu) (This move targets two monsters. It deals critical damage if one or more monster has Hold Ground)
Wall Crusher (130tu) (This move targets one enemy. It deals critical damage if the targets Defense is higher than its Attack.)
Morale Boost (5 Uses) (50tu) (This skill targets one ally with less stars that this monster. It purifies and heals the monster before applying a shield to it.)
Double Retribution

Moves (Unawakened):
You’re Grounded
Wall Crusher
Morale Boost
Retribution

Secret Skill: SOLO Team Turn

Passives:
Insomnia (Sleep Immunity on awakening)
Fighting Spirit

Yeah, his point was to counter the meta a little.

And I was afraid a monster like this one could end up helping AP Spam and Link Holy a little too much, which is why he can’t sweep with Holy and has RAW Stealthbreak to keep AP Spam in check.

I do agree though, maybe 50% is a little much. Changed it.

Heh, nothing personnel kid… (teleports behind you)(tips fedora)(respects m’lady)(teleports again) very good, you made me use 0.5% of my power… (drinks a bottle of Mountain Dew)(tips fedora again) no mom, I swear, it’s a virus, my pants fell off by accident (teleports behind your mom)
