Malwing needs a change

Malwing is just way to op
Double passive and can blow back
I feel like it should be given unmovable
And change blowback so it sends itself and the enemy to a random place in the team

Nope

That kind of ruins the point of unmovable. Also he is pure bs. Like stun or sleep, take your pick

This monsters give the most incredible support in the game, while also is a great sweeper. Its just to much power for a single monster.

Good point. Now I understand why not

Use a gravity field monsteršŸ˜‰ jk lol tbh im using malwing + geo and i admit it’s probably a bit too strong.

Question. Do you have this monster on any of your teams or at all

Just make it so that pullback can only be used on a monster 1x like what they did to repent.

And/or make it so blowback only does 1 thing. KB or step back but not both. A double move SS into a double entrance passive that can be used repeatedly is beyond asinine.

I have it, I use it, it’s broken

Make blowback send malwing to the back. It’ll remedy the pull back shenanigans with oni and geo in the process.

It has no drawbacks so this’ll give it a risk in using its SS. 16 cost is too little for a free knockback into OP passive.

You could also throw in an unmovable-like passive with blowback being the exception to it…

You can also give it unmoveable, and make blowback bypass umoveable passives (both it own and the enemy’s, but it WONT bypass gravity field)

Just make blowback send malting and the enemy to a random spot and it’s perfect

How can you expect the god of rng to go to a random spot with blowback?

If tranquilising sleep is ā€œrandomā€ then surely its blowback placement would be ā€œrandomā€ as well. So it wouldn’t be a coincidence that it blowbacks and ends up next in line…no no no at the back it goes…

Also making malwing’s ss completely disregard unmovable is just downright op.

My malwing never hits converters :frowning:

Ya. Its like lets take Wraith/sweet entrance passive, and add the stun.

Then we’ll give it a double secret skill. A secret skill that enables it to reuse its double passive.

Anybody who doesn’t think thats messed up needs to share with me what theyre smoking.

There are so many monsters with no entrance passive or secret skill, and this one gets 2 of each, with the SS basically allowing for a double double entrance passive.

There arnt alot of unmoveable monsters so who cares. Gravity field will still be a fully counter to it as it should be. The idea is prevent abusing it passive with oni / geo / whatever, and keep blowback

Just because there isn’t a lot doesn’t make it acceptable for malwing to break logic. I don’t see the need for this unnecessary buff.

Why should malwing be the only mon to move an unmovable mon? Gravity field is available to only 3 limited mons. Hardly a consistent counter.

Chronotitan benefits from unmovable. The passive loses value if it is simply disregarded. I don’t see the need to move motor and tinker as well in most situations, but that just might be me…

Keep the consistency. Asking for this is the equivalent of asking for a single attacking move to bypass auto protect plus.

I feel like as soon as Malwing gets any nerf then everyone will switch to Sobeking and there’ll be just as many complaints.

Malwing is one of the best PvP monsters for sure but it’s got slow speed and stun has a large number of counters. It’s not OP or broken in my books.

I think that the ability to pull it back multiple times to abuse the entrance passive is a bit cruel. So I think the most appropriate change would be to make all monsters only possible to target with pull back / sendback moves ONCE. This would include all variants of the skills like Blowback and Soul Summon. That should help avoid anything broken.

I know not everyone has the monsters to counter certain other ones and Malwing does have a top notch moveset but, in general, anything with slower speed is much easier to counter or deal with.

P.S. I’m glad they changed the SS cost to 16. That was a good step to bringing it into balance.

P.P.S. Has anyone thought about using Centaureon in a link storm team with pull back? Not quite viable yet but imagine getting multiple easy stunning entrances + assisted thunder. As time goes on there will be more and more abusable entrances.

I’ve faced enough teams having leo, light lion and other three stun convertors. Stun entrance is dead unless it is tranquilising.
