You wouldn’t run a team without stun protection, why do you run a team without something to get you out of rock lock.

As everyone said i have no probs with being rocklocked properly. Tho i agree rock lock needs to be toned down.
rocklock is a bit slow process but there aren’t many ways to recover.
However I just want one thing.
I JUST WANT LUNACTIA GONE.
Rock lock requires specific monsters like skele/hanzo and with them on field u only can run mons like sui/nauti/rocco and shielddragon etc. And if u wanna run raw then you gotta remove them first which will also petrify your mons.
If someone has all of these and can pull off a process like rock lock then he deserves the win.
But I don’t really feel like losing to someone who just stuffs true hitters randomly after lunactia and focused fd maeve.
There’s literally no team building or anything.
Just a one mon doing all of it.
If you guys think lunactia is balanced and people running her are great team builders then we can’t agree
How many effective counters do we have for rock locks? Are counters for rock locks common？
Common counters to rock lock (off the top of my head):
-Anything that can cannibalize/backstab/backbite etc
-Anything with sendback (ie all 3 of those shockers people love so much)
-Anything with knockback or KBN
-Anything with payback killer/nullifying moves
-Anything that can damage your own mons (everyone has bundleblazer or saberdragon)
I really feel like I’m shooting myself in the foot by starting this list of things that counter rocklock, but tbh most of the time people panic when they see a rocklock FL and make bad decisions that result in themselves getting locked.
Like if you think things through most teams can prevent themselves from getting locked in the first place.

Man i am talking about people that solely rely on her. And doesn’t have great monsters after the rock lock. Would you really feel like losing to a shop super epic with true hit which was randomly stuffed after a rock lock which too was done solely by lunactia. You guys probably already faced the similar or exact same formation.
Also the last time i saw your rocklock team i think you ran some petrify revenge mons to pull off rocklock. Might be wrong.

Why don’t you prioritize killing lunactia?
People always kill my offensive mons first for some reason and end up getting demolished by lunactia. Half of the time people rock lock themselves

Rocklock is nearly as boring as stunlock to face, and while you guys keep listing counters, the more we have to build to counter, the less creative we can be realistically

Also, mons that thrive behind an AP wall like bloom or peng are great at disrupting a rock lock team.
Rockoids are APs at the end of the day, and there are a lot of cowardly monsters who like to hide behind APs

I tried that but they mostly have loads of aps around lunactia.
And true hitter gets blocked because of lunactias speed.
There aren’t enough viable counters he knows that he’s just trying to kill the conversation.
This is why I think something should be done. There are counters, but it’s not fun to face. Really fun to do

If you read from the top this thread seems like it’s DMG complaining about rock lock specifically.
I think it’s because they don’t like the idea of a strategy that can shut down their awakened mythic collections

The people in this thread who are mad about rock lock are in the clans who have members with the most awakened mythics.
Rock lock gives power to the people @DMG_Rocket 
Rock lock is absolutly awesome 
nothing is more enjoyable then destroy a full awakened mythic spam team
Rock lock give us F2P players a chance to fight back thats why i enjoy it so much
