I bought 150 gems encouraged by people talking about the greatly increased odds of getting legendaries during festivals, particularly people talking about how they got multiple legendary. These are my results.

Will never spend money on this game again, but I’m interested to know how other peoples results compare.
Im newly know that 40% only for a limited time. For rare gems that way to hard and time consuming.
Epic is life
Dupe is real #needluck #newplayer #epic4life
I don’t buy gem, but I do the 10 hatch roll. No legendary, 6 super epics, 4 epics I think. Some are dupes. People need to realize that it depends on luck, so even if you spend money on it, doesn’t mean you will guaranteed to get a legendary. It is just that you will have better chance because of more attempts. It’s a risk you should have known. And after all, this is just a game
You have to be patient, just rolled 9 eggs, finally got a poison legend so i can built a new poison team. If you want to buy gems, I would recommend to buy the 13 gems. Hatch two eggs and see if youre happy with the monsters you got or not. If you were unlucky, you can buy 13 gems again and hatch 3 eggs. This allows you to stop at the right time.
It’s not a matter of knowing the risks, it’s a matter of the value proposition to the consumer. To be clear, I’m the group that is perfectly willing to drop $1,000 on an internet spaceship for a game that may never get made.So I generally consider myself within the target audience for this kind of monetization model. I make an effort to support games I like to play financially, because I want them to keep working on the game. I actually use the paypal link and donate to websites I use. I even buy games DLC content that I Know I’ll never play just to support companies I like. All you have to do to separate me from my sweet money, is not make me feel like I got ripped off at the end of it. To which they have failed significantly and therefore lost hundreds to thousand of dollars in potential income from me. Like many people in this thread, the first response is “don’t spend money to buy gems” which will be my point of view and advice going forward. I would hope as Developers, that their end goal is to make me WANT to give them money rather than have me actively DISCOURAGE anybody from giving them money.
Unless the mathematical odds are posted somewhere, it’s not a risk I could know. If you tell me I have a 1/20 Chance vs a 1/100 or 1/1000 Chance; Then I know the odds, I can make an informed decision. Everybody knows the odds of winning the lottery, your more likely to be struck by lighting, but only the Devs know the odds of me winning. Further, they have the ability to manipulate the odds in unseen ways. They can for example, do something similar to the CSGo Scandal and we’d never be the wiser.
Lets not kid ourselves, RNG boxes (random number generator) are straight up gambling and SHOULD fall under gambling law. However because the people that make the laws don’t understand dem fancy computers and the concept that digital property has value (cause they are from the generation before the tech was prevalent), it falls under a legal loophole. In particular we sign EULA’s that generally states nothing in the game has a real world value and therefore isn’t considered gambling because we are essentially playing with digital poker chips that don’t have real money attached. The FTP model takes advantage of the same people that fall prey to gambling addictions to make profits. Despite being industry standard for mobile and tablet games, it’s a scumbag thing to do and it should be illegal. One of these days the law will catch up to this RNG nonsense and the whole games industry will be better for it.
Well, maybe the dev can provide alternative “buy monster” straight, not some random generation, to people who willing to spend, or other fairer solution. I don’t know if that’s the best solution. But at least, it provide a guaranteed value for their money. And maybe the dev can be more transparent about the odds, because I think for this game, it’s about getting the legendaries or at least useful mons
Too bad the Devs missed out on your hundreds of thousands of dollars Lol
Calm down my friend. You’re gonna wake up tomorrow and everything will be okay. Try monster legends or Pokemon go - I hear they give you great returns for your time and money.
