They really need a “daily ladder” feature that gives you a series of battles with a reward to claim at the end. Events are good, but they don’t offer that much content that isn’t ticket restricted.
Perhaps you could pick a difficulty level and that decides your rewards. Too hard and you can’t finish. Too easy and you don’t maximize your rewards.
Ps: Island challenge is frustrating to the point of not being fun. Giving the AI a buff is one thing… making it to where basic attacks one shot you and it takes 3 sweeper moves to kill one mon isn’t fun or strategic. It’s obnoxious.
We have things to do daily. The special ingredient missions are on a 3-day repeat, there are either 3 or 4 special events going on at the same time, we get PVP like every other week and there is a lot of “story mode” that you can do and that includes all the side missions (and I highly doubt you’ve completed all of it). If you’ve done all that, you can always kill some time by farming “standard” ingredients. There is enough content to last you for a while and asking the devs to give you even more almost borders on ungratefulness imo.
Also, the whole point of the ic is to be a challenge. How fun would it be if you just breezed through everything with the first draft of monsters you get? It takes time and planning to succeed at the ic, which make it all the more rewarding when you pass that certain level that stumped you.
I agree completely with Mevalosity and just want to point out that we have PvP coming tomorrow morning. It’s open for 3.5 weeks every 4.5 weeks. So we only have 1 week of downtime where things become ticket-based. Have you completed Game of Hordes yet, the other offline/online content, biweekly missions and kept on top of your IC tickets to push for level 300 or 400?
IC is just what you required:

Did you pick poison monsters? You will see when you learn which monsters are actually good in IC, you will have almost no trouble getting all the rewards until the 2 rare gems. Aka lv 300.
I used to be upset about this too but then I “got gud” with my IC team building.
I mean I got to lvl 160 before I got supremely bored. Losing half the time… admittedly due to me not being prudent regarding drafting. Some teams just had utterly broken monsters (WHEN buffs taken into account.) Like an assisted team. Total wipe. Useless to use, but unfair to the player. A sleep/stun team is pretty much your only chance.
And guys there’s not much daily content I don’t know what y’all are talking about. I can’t do 80% of the content because I don’t have 50 legendaries UE’d. Your homerism is noted though.
Sleep/stun, death sentence moves, guaranteed 1 shot moves, 400sec megabomb, 400sec novablast, camouflage, give turn, team turn. Those things are powerful in IC. Some poison monsters can be useful too e.g Bane, Deathgazer and oaktulhu. And remember stun absorber in frequent intervals or some stun immunity.
I totally get your frustration though because this happened to me many times. E.g opponent picked ■■■■ monsters for IC but it counters my team because of it and the buff just destroys my team. You can work around it though.
As for the difficulty, when a 100% legend deal lands, roll with 50 gems. This way you will maximise the amount of legends you get unless you are willing to spend a lot of course. You need legends to be able to complete events.
