Preface
This information is for the "Showdown Tower" limited-time event. In this event we work our way through floors by doing battles and earning badges. Each win gives us one badge and losses give us none. We need a certain amount of badges to progress to the next floor. While playing the event we may come across trainers. Beating them gives a badge, as normal, but losing against them will mean we lose a badge. The reason for this guide is to show which doors you should select to meet/avoid trainers as you please. It is still down to random chance, but by having this information you can help yourself get through this event more easily.
NOTE: The exact mapping of the trainers may change at any time. I will try my best to keep this as up-to-date as possible.

As you can see above, the buff level is not much until the last floors. Floor 9-12 have a considerable buff and only high damage and piercing attacks will remain effective. While the buff is below 1 the monsters will have lowered speed, meaning they are slow to get their first turn. This makes the battles much easier!
While going through the tower you will be matched against players who are on the same floor as you. Typically, these player teams will be easier than the trainer teams you can encounter. The first few floors the player teams are debuffed and on the last few floor the trainer teams have 20 monsters in them as well as still having a larger buff. However, if you are having a hard time against player teams then it might be worth waiting a day or two for the strong players to get further in the event and increase your chance to play against weaker teams.
Rewards
Right now there are rewards for each floor and win streak. Not a lot to say here with regards to tips other than if you’re going for win streak and want as much consistency as possible I recommend you aim for the trainers as much as you can until the final floors where you should face only the trainers you are sure you can beat. There are 100 battles in total in the tower so to get 100 win streak you will need to do the whole event without losing. If you lose you can loop around from the start again and get back to the point you lost a battle, at a lower ticket entry price.
Full tower map
So here's the big bit... the full mapping of the tower! This is floor-by-floor what trainers you might meet. The trainers on each floor don't change, as well as the chance to meet them behind the three doors. However, their exact positions on those floors shuffle around each time the event comes out and the three doors shuffle too. Therefore by using this map you can identify which trainer you are likely to meet when you see the percentage on a door.
- e.g. You click a door on Floor 4 and see “50% chance for trainer”. Using the map you know this is either Elian or Sabrina.
Use this information as you wish. If it’s likely a trainer you want to avoid then switch to find the lowest percentage chance door. Most trainers have a 0% door. The hardest trainers I’ve marked with a * next to their name.
For each trainer there are vague details about this battle in the “trainer team” column. These details are written in a formulaic structure:
- “,” is used to separate points
- “F” refers to the Front four monsters in a team
- “M” refers to the Middle of a team
- “E” refers to the End of a team
- “+” means these two things are at the same point in the team
- “&” means these two things are being mentioned together but they are not together in the team
- “link [element]” is used to mean there is a heavy focus in that element, not necessarily link monsters/moves
- “poison” or any similar term without any F, M or E tag means the whole team has this as a general theme
- “lots of / many” are used to highlight something that is not a strong, synergistic theme of the team but is notable
- Many legendaries and mythics have their shortened nicknames used. These can be seen in KD’s Legendaries/Mythics listed + stats if you are not familiar with them
Please note that the trainer team details only give a minor representation of the team. They’re the aspects I found stood out and made that battle unique. These details are meant for reference to remind yourself (if you’ve faced the team already) or for you to change/prepare your team for certain things. Do not use them as a guide for what to directly counter.
