I’m even considering not getting the monster out of protest, because every reward below 152 is totally useless, how are the players going to evolve their monsters?

It’s good that you overhaul events, but I’d much rather you spend this time on creating new events or guild…

Yeah the rewards needs an EX too

3 gems for instance in Biweekly is a reward for beating 10 monsters in 1 battle, with your own team and no buffs.

6 gems in total for two battles.

You get your third gem in Island Challenge EX event at lvl100, so by playing 20 battles.

P. S: Make IC more like Biweekly, don’t make Biweekly more like IC.

As someone who played the previous island challenges, I’m not liking this new update because it makes the event too similar to others. What’s the use of having, from day one, the same over used legendaries we fight on other events/pvp? Doesn’t it feel boring and repetitive? The only difference now would be getting some underwhelming rewards. I thought this event was the only beginner friendly, with familiar monsters of 4 stars and a legendary potion as reward, which was challenging but still approachable as a beginner. Personally I would just tailor this event for beginners, giving a wide selection from the monsters found on the in-game islands (a neglected part) plus some legendaries, mythics and boosted stats. This is mostly because I think there should be some variety on these events, and this one especially is missing a reason to be played other than having a random team. (Which won’t be random because people pick the same things over and over again.)

I think if you add 1000 redrafts it will allow players to have a specific team they want and more drafts to allow this. Outside of this, big improvement on quality of life. Bravo!

More mythic monsters and legendaries than super epic as well since most have poor moveset and bad tu. More tickets maybe 20 to just rush the super epic for a lot of people.

I just wanted to say that I appreciate the effort of refreshing the event but the rewards need to be refreshed too, was disappointed to see that they were exactly the same as before. I thought it would be obvious to renew them as well!

I agree. Rewards for this one are appalling, we need an update on rewards for some of the events as they barely offer anything relevant to veteran players (and to be fair, I think even new players can do without epic potions or similar sort of rewards).

People who are using poison teams in this deserve hell

I don’t agree to put 20 gems into every event, but I think, specially for new players, every event should have an Omegamid, since all the legendary monsters use one or some even two, positioned at an easy level. Then Vorabook/Cryptamid/Colored Mouth plus an SE monster at an easy/medium level. At a medium/higher level an Ocarino, which is still lacking a lot in PvE. Players who don’t play PvP are having a hard time getting Ocarinos, this a a huge misbalance in the game. Another misbalance is the absence of Silvermouth as rewards, it doesn’t make sense that they are the only ingredients never rewarded anywhere at all. Then at a high level the legendary potions.

This is just my point of view to make fair rewards for beginning and more advanced players. Of course veteran players won’t care anyway, since they got massive amounts of basic and advanced ingredients in stock.

But I feel that most of this forum members and also the developers see the game in a strict veteran point of view. They forgot how newer players feel, suffer and what they need to proceed in the game.

And I also believe to remember that the normal Island Challenge had better rewards than this EX Island Challenge before level 152, but I might remember incorrectly.

I’m going to be very forward. If you can’t progress in this event where all the players are on the same starting line, it’s actually a skill issue. The AI is very predictable and after playing for a while you know what it’s going to do and how to counter it. You also need to pick good monsters that can take your team further in the event. Not just random ones without any synergy.

Example: I played against a team where the person had picked shiny Kamiwyrm and had monsters of many elements around it. Kamiwyrm only works in link fire so it was completely useless in that team. So the person didn’t understand how to build around it.

Blah blah blah same complaints you said before already! Did you already forget the comments you had during the anniversary??? You need to prac-ti-ce! Just keep playing and you’ll learn. Play Biweekly mission to see how people build their teams. Learn about decision making during the match. It’s the most important thing by far in this game. You need to know when to attack, when to skip, when to stun, when to kill. This only happens by playing the game.

If you want automatic wins without any effort this game is definitely not for you!

How does a cockroach reproduce? I read about its abilities and it doesn’t have cloning as such; the closest thing is its ability to be reborn. Can you explain that to me?

Guess what i am actively playing this game for more than one and a half years and i recently awakened Daji (my very first awakening other than chronozillion).

But i agree with you game is very harsh for beginners.

Why are we still focusing on more pve content, why do we not get more pvp

It works via its baby form(which you can easily find by pressing the (!) icon for its repulse move). The strat is for it to create a baby form in the enemy team. The baby then creates a final form in your team. Repeat until you get 4 and profit
