Ahaha, got Lavaronix just after finishing 300 lvl
i started since Day 1 Sir Hidan 
its just I got Bad Drafts.,
yet i am still Lucky i mange to reach Level 281 til now…
havent sleep in 31 hours
got sleep awhile ago for 1 1/2 hour
very tough/Hard opponents *_*
trying to reach 300 before it ends
Finished now as well.
Used Sleep Bombers and my 2 most useful monsters were Titanwolf SE (Purify,Hold Ground, Survivor, Desperate Double) and Nukespider! Epic (400sec Bomb). Just want to mention it cause it was said they are useless at 250+. My Nukespider killed every single monster 1 shot at lvl 300.
Oh and with my Legendary i had quite a lot of fun cause i just tried sth new. I took Cosmodragon (didnt even know him) over Lavaronix and used him with my Sleep Bombers^^ So Sleep Bomb the entire team, then Create Duplicate,Switch Place,Create Duolicate Switch Place and so on. Once i chained 2 Sleep Bombers and had like 4 or 5 Cosmodragons all with Death Revenge hahaha. This event was fun! My first Island challenge. Didnt play for half a year or sth like that.

If you want to do it easier, start earlier. Took me only two days to reach 300, and until floor 281 iirc my team consist of 3 epics. Next time try to start this event earlier and you’ll notice it’ll be much more easier.
Facing now full Epic/Super Epic teams with still 1SE and 3 E. Draft this morning gave me again 3x 1* to choose from.
I joned the event within the first hour.
and whats with the other half? what’s your point here? randomly denouncing other people? pretty sure.
as a moderator you should be more careful with such statements. espicially if it is pure speculation, nothing else.
It isn’t speculation because 2 people already stated they started beyond day 1. That was why I originally even commented about it, and why he quoted me.
The other half just comes down to time. If you start at the beginning, you will win matches you were never supposed to just due to luck. That almost never happens later on in the event because your 0-1* are mostly useless (except sleep bombers), where later on means day 3+. So the more you lose at the start, the more you should play. If you choose to wait and not play til later because you keep losing, you’re actually making it harder for yourself. Also, you’re throwing away full tickets that may have potentially led to an unexpected win. About 1/5 of my wins past 250 are usually from the AI making a mistake and choosing not to hit my sweeper, or not stun bombing when they could’ve won with that move.

If you started in the first hour and haven’t missed any drafts, then it looks like you have some sort of bug - it’s not just bad luck. You should email the devs for support. It seems like the SE and legend drafts seem to have happened at the same time for anyone on the forum who did start at the beginning, so you shouldn’t be outmatched.

Pretty sure I started on Day 1 and received 1 5*, 1 4* and a couple 3*. Don’t know if it’s a bug or just bad luck. But I have been stuck on lvl 116 with my crappy team facing all 5* and 4* mons, even most teams have a 6* mon…

but those guys here don’t get it. the always-same-forum-elite prefers to bullshit anyone to death who complaints about their beloved game and the devs don’t care at all. it’s a shame on a ranked event (yes, there is a rank list!) like this

The game isn’t perfect. We all admit to that.
The issue here is that

A random number generator that is not bridled in so that anyone can get the 3 rare gems.

Not everyone has the same team building skills and we will get complainers no matter what.
The first one is understandable. I too would get frusturated if I started at the same time as everyone else and got worse monsters so I couldn’t complete the challenge.
The second one is a playerbase issue. For example, keb 5 was really frusturated because he couldn’t get to 300. He said he got garbage picks, but when I looked at his monsters they were fine. He could have reached 300 if he had simply rearranged his team a little and picked taloknight instead of shivadragon. I have had rather average luck with picks in this game and I have reached 300 for all of the island challenges that have happened.
The thing here is that you should pick a strategy when you get your first epic. Then everything you pick from then on should supplement that strategy.
Tl;dr:
There is a problem with the random number generator, but a lot of people aren’t as good as they think they are.
Pick a strategy and stick with it. Change your team as needed.

All se dups from rare eggs, too. So in the future, I will stop at 250 or just 140.

i like being corrected…
anyway i already finished the IC changing my Team set-up…
i switch to sleep frontliner and 400 sec bomb greenpanda followed by my 2 SE’s Survivors…
(so all is my fault)
i am sticking to main strategy while there is so many possibilities/improvement on my main strategy in IC., (even with Bad Drafts)
so now, for me base on my experience (tough/hard experience)
10-20% on Luck while 80-90% Strategy in Island Challenge…
Learned my Lesson… ( I am still Lucky in my 3 months playing this game )

I completed to level 325. Seemed weaker buffing in the later stages, lunadrake and storm loch with some stun/sleep allies and it’s very easy. I struggled at about 180 on this event until the later drafts. My first time reaching 300, which I put down to having more time to check and play than previous
