Is really dumb to remove someone from the leaderboard for account sharing.

As mentioned before, I am not affiliated with any clan. But I get it, it’s easier to pretend that everyone opposing you is just a mindless goon or hatever.

Please, just give me ONE good reason why violating the TOS in order to place higher in PvP isn’t the textbook definition of cheating

You are correct. This is because the devs are against sharing accounts to play ranked, not the general idea of logging into a different account during the three day period where ranked occurs

You’re conflating the two, violating the TOS and cheating is not synonymous.

Guys I’ll put the problem straight with you LOGICALLY ok?

Every player start with 6 tickets ok?
Potentially every player has THE SAME number of tickets/fights during ranked.

Rather you account share or not the number of battles still remains same.
You can have 2-3-4-5 accounts, number of battles will still remain same.

If Raghnius played all his tickets, let’s say a maximum of 50 (I don’t know how much tickets you can exactly play), I does not really matter if finds Loki with different accounts because the number of fights remain 50, Raghnius cannot play more than 50 fights, that’s the maximum number of tickets.

So account sharing is usually an agreement of “if you are busy I can play your account” and most of the time is done without any malice. Example Alazan was playing my account while I was busy at work, in my case I was not entering at all in my account and I stopped sharing to avoid problems (my account is worth to much, I can’t afford to be banned because this problem is made bigger than how it is, so for my own good, I prefer not to share any longer).

In any case, your reaction is exaggerated, ToS are there to avoid fraud and lucrative activities.
Not to kill something like “account sharing for fun”.

Thanks for reading this. Who will read it all.

This is still a case of account sharing because you are “sharing” the account with them. This violation of the ToS should result in a ban even if it isn’t technically cheating.

Is way too strict and illogical.

The definition of cheat in the context of games is behaving dishonestly in order to gain an advantage. Violating the TOS to use a better account seems to fit that definition perfectly

@squinty1880 @ArcticTheHunter

Are you aware of how many 18- age are playing this game?
You are not sharing a bank account :bank:, banning for sharing who does not do it maliciously is not right.

Do the ToS mention intent?

It should.
You can’t approach everything in the same way.

If that’s the case Lemon and Duck are using traded accounts respectively from Josu and Bonanoe.
Yakuza is using one traded from Kiknaz.
And god knows how many more accounts are traded.
If you gotta approach in the strict way, you should have a massive ban because of ToS

Explain this then.

The advantage your account gains from sharing with another person is access to awards from rankings you wouldn’t otherwise get because you are busy that other people could get due to the lack of time you have.

Explain why you have 40+ mythics and can’t get #1:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Is nice to conveniently ignore my previous comment on account trading?
Rather you apply ToS for all, or you action it according to different levels of gravity.

Because I have a life and don’t have the time to grind.
