Hi everyone, I’m currently a NeoMon player, but cause I’m F2P and so…just wanted to know if Evertale demands being P2W?
And how good it’s, it have cool designs and animations?
Evertale has a lot more online parts where your success is driven by how powerful your collection is. So the big fish definitely eat the small fish. Your collection all get stat buffs for owning particular sets of “mythics” all awakened, meaning P2W / veterans naturally have a huge advantage.
That said, they power creep like crazy so the new characters are far stronger than the old ones. So, in theory, you can probably catch up some of the way by simply targeting the new stuff. Also, you get roughly 2.5x the “gems” so even though the “mythics” take 5 copies rather than 4, you can fully awaken them about twice as frequently.
My wife has played the game for years so I have some insight but not first-hand experience and she plays games very differently to me so I don’t know exactly how P2W (etc.) it is

I don’t see the high strategical gameplay in Evertale which you’re used to in Neo Monsters.
On the other hand you have way better artwork and graphic quality. Also the audio is better. It has more online events and possibilities.
It’s higher powercreep and way more complicated in ingredients and leveling.
If I’d give Neo Monsters 8/10, I’d give Evertale 4/10. It’s not bad, it’s neither great and somehow it don’t catch you like the high level complex monster skill base of Neo. Sometimes I feel that if you just buy a strong team of top characters and put auto fight, that’s all you have to do in Evertale.
To put Tokyo Debunker into the same comparison, it’s very boring and 2/10 is a fair rating if you’re not a 10 to 16 year old female.
