I get where you’re coming from, but when you run monsters as a hard counter and only really have a single purpose (or very few) I feel like they should be rewarded with one shotting. Shadowyrm and Kami are a good example of this. If there’s no sleep or Protectors they’re useless and as a result they’re often not worth running. Shadow is a bit viable with the SS, but then it’s a high cost for still a limited use monster

Perhaps, but for starters all those moves do have low TU (at least at the time they were released) which is already a reward in itself. And also I do believe that running only hard counters as opposed to a well rounded strategy should be equally ‘punishable’ in a sense that these monsters might not be that useful if they don’t meet that certain condition.

I agree with that. I wouldn’t encourage anyone to run only hard counters. But often players include a hard counter in their FL, so that their main strategy can run effectively

I agree prof. But it doesn’t need to be huge. Protected Skele and sloth should still tank. 10% is enough imo

Yea that’s true but also a move that’s supposed to deal crit dmg should take A lot more than 1/4 of its hp

He means buffing protector killer’s damage on galvbane and no other monster because it’s kind of disappointing to see galvbane not able to deal much damage to protectors.

Yes, indeed the definition of ‘critical’ damage is too ambiguous.

Skeleviathan is protect focus so he will still tank I believe also there is no popular light element protector killer I can remember on top of my mind.

But I’d go with magaiasloth getting one shot :sweat_smile:

No one is talking about a “one shot” goal. It would be illogical to think for example that: “Confidence shot” will kill any monster with one hit.
