We already have counters for AP spam. Guardian execute, raw, sneak attack, protector killer / assassinate bypassing protectors. You could even say payback revenge is somewhat of a counter.
Protector killer damage is slightly different to that. It won’t help much with AP spam, it’s just generally lacklustre at dealing with what it’s supposed to.

Translation mistake, KD is not talking about “Furtivo”, he’s referring to “Ataque Sigiloso”, which ignores protectors and can’t be redirected.

Galvbane DOES NOT need a buff. Giving it guardian execute would be ridiculous. I bet it would be closer to 95% of forum members DISagreeing with this buff idea lol.
Btw sneak attack goes around protectors, that’s how it counters AP spam. Bypassing protectors is an incredibly harsh counter to AP spam. Honestly, it’s a stronger counter than it should be.
I’d say keep this thread focused on the damage dealt by protector killer. Keep the other ideas for another time.
Also what if Protector Killer maintained the same damage as before, but had a side effect added, which disables protecting effects (Auto Protect/Protect Teammates/Protect Focus/Scapegoat) on the target for the next, say, 50 seconds?

I agree protector kilker needs a damage buff, PS:good luck countering AP spam with sneack atack its ridiculous hard to use and ridiculous easy to counter and could also get a much needed buff
No. The attack stat isn’t the only stat that’s an issue it’s the multiplier on the skill. Different monsters have different multipliers in the same skill so even with less attack they can do more damage (for example leogeist and shiva dragon. Shiva has more attack but leo does more damage with crecendo strikes for some reason, or so it seems)
I have Shiva, polaboss and leo and shiva does way more damage then leo followed for polaboss and leo comes in 3rd. At least against buffed enemys its that order
Yes KD once in a post I think he explained about multipliers taking the example of oniblades bloodthirst and I don’t know the other mons.

My opinion on this subject is that I dislike the one shot meta as a whole. If it was possible it would be better that most moves did not deal one shot damage in the first place. Only monsters with low HP and defence should die of those moves. I would also lower the damage of bloodfury and bloodcrave, so they wouldn’t necessarily deal one shot damage after 1 kill either. This currently happens only when protect focus is active or with very high defence mythics.
This would definitely broaden the meta and make low speed monsters with high defence much more usable. It’s frankly ridiculous that most of those monsters get 1 shot without even getting a turn because of the sheer overabundance of overpowered 1 shot moves. However, some protectors such as Geocosma would have to be slightly nerfed because they were designed to work in this 1 shot meta.
