I second what Exu said. Above all else, it’s situational. What I typically do is try to gauge it based on the returning discussion that happens. If I come to the forum and the old thread was necroed and people are happily chatting away in it about the new stuff then I’m not going to mess with it. However, if it’s got people quoting older posts out of confusion or it’s about something very specific that’s come up about the monster then I’ll push it all to a new thread that’s better named for the new topic.
So if you need to decide whether to start a new thread or necro an old thread the main thing is to think to yourself whether what you want to discuss is something new or something very general / already talked about. If it’s new, make a new thread. If it’s not, don’t be scared to put it in an older thread and we see how the chat transpires. However, if that old thread is from long ago (e.g. 1+ years) then have an extra think because it’s probably too old that you’re better off starting a new one anyway.

I was really disappointed last week when the UC still didn’t offer auto fight.
I can’t believe how Oozetank, and Aurodragon has carried me a lot in the PvP

I think I fight this guy twice, I could be wrong… But, I think I’ve seen their monster somewhere.
They slaughtered my mons without almost giving me a single move, which is nuts… Even if I were about to lose, I got some move to use… But hell with this fight.

That happens now because rather than nerfing the broken fast mythic they released without thinking twice about it, they boosted 90+ speed dragons to counter it but in fact they only added more options to run fast speed frontlines. Good job Devs. I heard you wanted to battle fast front meta but you only keep adding ■■■■ to it.
Actually PvP is more balanced now. I am not using char cause she have almost counter in almost all matches. Same goes for Prixis by megalo and with the addition of 90 speed man eater it’s even more balanced. Whales never run megalo, scarle, 90 speed whales instead they go for fast myth spam so it’s totally fine as they get countered by those fast se and leggy spam. And those fast se and leggy spam get crushed by normal leg spam as they(megalo,shadowrym,scarle) only have limited targets.
Last rank report says otherwise. With 9 out of 10 monsters in front being the ones with speed 50 and over.
Anything that removes deadweight. Backbite and backstab etc. if you have Ral (second form Soral) that works, Wraithost too. Hit the sacrifice (front) filter
