To be fair the meta was flooded with death revenge/revival monster spam too, so not sure if I’d qualify that as more sophisticated.

Blame the devs for keeping 1 tu exchange for ed they are the main reason nyx went down , and also the cw boss , it’s their fault
Yes nyx has counters , also shield meta has a counter it’s called lava , toxic entrance

I think the shield meta is very much a Bridalith problem, has been for a while, devs should really look into her, maybe introducing a 100tu restriction on her entrance.
