He was having all stun arks like how they usually would set up. So I knocked back his gemknight first then I’ve got a bonus action so I also knocked back his Pegasion too. And this is the exacting part—after this I found he doesn’t even know how to use the rest of his arks. He doesn’t know beastbane, doesn’t know ‘no defense’ is only decreasing the defense(so he pretty much use AOE all the time)… He has lots of good arks, like vegetiger, minespider…etc. The best part is when I had a tank, Stegospike and halopad, he tries so hard to kill my halopad with AOE and then my minespider comes up. Then he tries to crazy AOE again, but that doesn’t bother me, because I just take out his arks one by one and I just don’t let the spider detonate. So in the end when he saw his gemknight comes back again, he rage quit!
It feels so good to turn the situation around, but to be honest, he was a newbie anyway. If he had ShadowStalker or if he was one of the experienced players in the forum(which you guys probably don’t use stego&char anyway :p), it would be a totally different story.
And I met him again, and again I tricked him!
I just played someone with shadowstalker who also was using the combo. Didn’t get a chance to scramble them, but they ended up losing because I got to kill charc before it got a kill. He had absolutely no idea how to use any of the other arks, INCLUDING MOSS GOLEM. It was funny.
Yup you’ll run into plenty of people like that. Many times ive seen people with minespider. They first use metallize then get a BA then they detonate thinking its going to kill my arks when it does absolutely no damage.
I think more people would defeat the stego/charc combo if they were willing to wait the 15 minutes for their next term. But it does make you feel good when you do it!
I think it might be because of language barrier, because I found most of the stego&char players are having Japanese characters in their title. So I assume they are from japan. Perhaps stego&char is very popular within Japanese players so they don’t really know that it’s not welcomed at here. Maybe…
