Btw Prof_Oak I thought you were tagging me in this thread because of my love of OoO. I use it a lot more than most as a FL strategy, it’s part of my favourite PvE team.
I agree that OoO with sleep immune monsters can get annoying. Sleep immunity is almost a bit too powerful in that way. It’s frustrating to see such a one-sided effect and it’s such an easy thing to make that it cheapens OoO as a strategy. There’s lots of good things you can use OoO for but OoO + sleep immune monsters is dull.
OoO in the FL is a totally legitimate way of trying to take control of the match. A general rule I think of is a good top bracket FL must do “enough” to take control of the match before 50% speed monsters get turns. Reason being, Midas link TT can happen by that point and wreck your team. OoO is a very nice way to have a single monster in your team that “takes control” and allowing your other monsters to get turns or do what they want to do. That can be used to set up lots of different, interesting things. That’s why I like OoO and wouldn’t give it too much hate even if the teams using it with sleep immune sweepers can be annoying.
Cheap imo is a very strong strategy that require no real-time strategy. Meaning its a 1 direction team - you click a series of predefined buttons and it kills half the team (usually with 4 hits move) - with no adjustments to the enemy line up, as it hardly counterable.

BB spam
Gazer terror end game
Old deo tk tk TT
Old abys nerdia
Old gyo with link slayerbane all FL
Old night night
Old motor into stun / sleep lock (this 1 actuaally required skill and real time adjustments, but it was cheap as it was pretty easy to pull off and a 100% win if succeed).
Most of them are all old as they were nerfed / outdated.
OoO can be cheap, but with the amount of poison / lion at FL, you HAVE to have an adjustable OoO team to success and make alot of real-time choices to recounter your counter. So i wouldnt count OoO teams among the list above (plus its a slow stratrgy eith usually slow killing, which is very different then the others in the list)
I remember 1-2 years ago when I made strong OoO teams people on the forum always talked down on it and called it trash because of Banedragon 5th or other things. People called it completely unusable or “not a top tier strategy”. Now people are beginning to call it “cheap”… I guess that’s a good sign, means it’s getting good.
If there isn’t someone writing hate about a strategy/monster then it’s not strong enough
1-2 years ago there was no gyo,angelo,oniblade double one one one. Thats why they called it trash.
There was 3 pvp teams back then.
1-Soul stealer.
2-Motor stun festa.
3-Bane.
Bringing the statment and saying you made a strong OoO team back then it only means you were a noobie.
Dont take this as hate but as a fact.
Its like someone saying i made a strong motar team, 2 years later see people i told you motar teams where good, but as far as they are right now they are trash.
Yeah, back in the day when I had virtually no legends, I was blown back by this oppressive combo and was tempted to cry nerf, before the ghost of Hector popped out my tablet and slapped me silly.
Look. Ooo take strategy. A year or two ago. U had to run a certain FL to beat it. Now of day there so many counter that it’s easy to defeat. If you a player that still uses ooo than ik u a skill player because u got build your team in a certain way.
