How to get to and beat the UC gatekeepers at level 200,250, and 300 without sleep legendaries.

Hopefully this is helpful.

Required monsters:
Horrorclaw - used for reviving a buffed sweeper. The rest of your team should be focused on keeping the tempo of the game away from the enemy to keep the revived sweeper alive.

Unwanted Frienders(At least 3. Lunartic counts as 2 of them. Midas helps too but you have to be careful with making sure the boxes don’t explode) - used for the 3rd gatekeeper to disrupt the flow of the enemy team and keep them stunnable. They can be used on the first gatekeeper to accelerate the process of sweeping.

Last biter OR Nebelronix/Cosmodragon OR Soulstealer - Last biter is more helpful in the earlier levels as it only takes a few bites to finish off the little bit of the team that is left. Cosmo/Nebel are helpful later on when free death revenges are worth a lot. Soulstealer is great simply because death sentence all is a free 1/4 of their team and sleep all is such a tempo controller. Can win you matches with DSA. He is a replacement to biter and nebel because biters fall off later on and nebel/cosmo is unreliable.

Rexo/Kamishogun - While not _technically_ necessary having one of these guys turns the first gatekeeper from a nightmare to cakewalk(I have only beaten the first gatekeeper with only revival once, as there is nothing to revive in the frontline that is worthwhile. Might still be possible but I haven’t actively tried to beat it without death roulette and rexo.)

Cryptblade - used in the third gatekeeper to revive wraithcaptain. Is very helpful to revive a second sweeper after your first one kills said sweeper you want to revive.

Lots of stun revengers - used in normal matches to keep the tempo away from the enemy. The enemy will target them first due to last stand(funny quirk that is abusable).

Shocking entrance - mostly optional but makes the third gatekeeper a lot easier.

Serazael - only necessary if you have a shocking entrance. Makes it so you can get 480 seconds of stun out of the shocking entrance monster. Which can mean the difference between losing and winning because of those 5 extra Nebelronixes.

Getting to 200:

This is the hardest part in my opinion. This is 2-3 easy fights and 7-8 stupidly hard ones. Best advice is to:

  1. start with death revenge. All death revenge if you have enough of it. Payback revenge is NOT A TERRIBLE THING. In fact, it was a buff to their UC capability. If you use them smartly, then you can bait important key enemy monsters into hitting them at the right time. There for guaranteeing that you can kill a key target.

  2. As you get closer and closer to 200 your team should consist of more and more stun/death revengers. This is to keep the tempo of the game and help set up stun bombers. At 200 your team should have the first half consist of stun and death revenge.

1st gatekeeper:

The lineup consists of:
Gaiawolf
Islandoe
Rhynobrawl
Puffoxin
Gigasect
Octoboss
Dreadfish
Omegasdragon
Sanctoise
Vulcamus
Thordragon
The Godfeather

Strategy with rexo:
Take ALL your stunbombers/bursters and put them in the frontline. Stun the frontline into oblivion. Then timestrike the islandoe. Continue to stun lock and bloodfury until they are all dead.

Strategy WITHOUT rexo:
Significantly Harder.
The following strategy is theory, but may work. Not entirely sure until next UC.

Stun bomber
Unwanted friender
Unwanted friender
Unwanted friender
Stun bomber
Stun bomber
Horrorclaw
Puffoxin
rhynobrawl
Purifier
Protector
Cryptblade

The strategy here is to stun bomb and then knock stuff away until right before autopoisoners xome out. Then use death roulette to get horrorclaw onto hold ground, knockback, protect with horrorclaw, then let the autopoisoners kill it. Then use the autopoisoner to kill another one and use cryptblade to revive it. You now have 2 autopoisoners and you should be able to clear the enemy team out easily now.

2nd gatekeeper:

The battle starts with 2 desperate double mons mauling your frontline. Use horrorclaw, a stun revenge, a payback revenge, and a death revenge with another payback revenge in 5. Follow it with more stun revengers and stun bombers. Serazael helps too here. Make sure that skyther doesn’t protect and make sure to stun lock the armavolt too. Then just wait for the survivor monster to charge and then go through the gatekeeper with him. Not hard at all.

106 for the first time ever

Thanks Zard for the tips

Will try using them next

Well with revival back, you can literally get at 6th gk, first one is hard (zard already mentioned why), and levels between GKs are also hard, but 3rd,4th,5th and 6th gks are really easy because they have leo and reviving him will make u unstoppable, havent done it my self but according to some people on trainers lounge you literally cant loose with him (chrono is also a really good one to revive).
My point is that revival can get you as far as u want with a few tries-luck and good set up.
Anyways, really good guide zard

4th is hard with revival only iirc. Maybe I am wrong though because it’s been a while. Back then before revive strat nerfed I can reach 399 without sleep legend, using revive only plus support. Problem for 4th GK is no sweeper you can revive iirc. DR in FL plus mirror revenge somewhere in the middle wasn’t enough.

Deodragon can be considered a sweeper.

Don’t know how energy blast will fare. Guess you’ll see. Even revived night desperate all didn’t do much. And even if you can kill all, it’ll be too risky.

True, if I could get to 400. . .

Haven’t been able to revive a single sweeper in the frontline in ~15 fights. Terrible luck I guess.

Best way to use horror claw for me is by putting him in FL together with another se protector. I can control who will kill my horror by alternating between two protect teammates or stealth teammate. Crypt is harder to set. Good luck

Will try that. Thanks.

Crypt needs horrorclaw to succeed.

You could pair Horrorclaw up with a nebel/cosmo protect and have crypt in the same line up, would be very very risky though

Nice guide you got there zard, keep up the good work.

Put horror before crypt to get 2 buffed mons. If you manage to get either crono or leo then you have an instant win because they are easy to set up. Of course mons like shadowyrm are good but to set them up depends on your opponents team.

Use stealth on your other mons after protecting with horror to preserve them so that when crypt comes out it can only revive anothor horror.

Get rid of knockbackers, especially autopoisoners. Horror’s worst nightmare…

Hopefully this is helpful.
