I am relatively new to the game. I just arrived at crescent island and wanted to start farming skullrexes & cherubs…
The level of my arks are 65-80.
Whats your strategy to farm these arks?
I have 2 highlvl arks and a lowie (lvl30) in my starting line up. If a cherub or skullrex shows up, I kill the remaining arks, and only use my lowie to attack the ark I want to catch. But most of the time my lowie gets killed by the ark before I have a high catch rate or cherub suicides itself…
I usually put three high level arks to farm. One of these high level arks have a sacrifice skill. When I see a cherub/skullrex, I sacrifice the ark and it brings out a lower level ark to fight. Sometimes I hit the ark once or twice to lower the hp a little and then I sacrifice. Passive damage from arks like seaspine works too.
For cherub sacrificing itself, bring a stunner, like stormfox. Stormfox has a skill called flash bomb that also sacrifices itself, so you can stun AND sacrifice the high level ark in one hit, and then use the lower level ark to beat it down to a decent catch rate.
