I needed a mobile Pokémon alternative. Ended up joining the legendary NME clan, the rest is history.
I needed to spend tons of money I downloaded it
Also, I thought that PokemonGo would take me away from Neo and soon found out that game was garbage, so I stuck with Neo
Gather round kids, I’ve got a knee-slapper of a story to tell.
A few years ago, I was sitting on my computer playing such classics as Pokemon Reborn, Pokemon Rejuvenation, and Pokemon Desolation; all amazing fangames with the most amazing collection of pretty girls I’ve ever seen. All of a sudden, a fellow mate of mine informed me about this Neo Monsters game that came out the App Store. Thinking that this was some new, hip game that all the kiddies were playing, I decided to download and play the game and was blown away by the amazing monster designs. Granted, the lack of cuties was disappointing but that was fixed with the release of such cuties as Lily, Rina and of course, the one and only Voidress. Three years later, I’m one of the greatest sleeper players in the game, though not necessarily by terms of skill.
After collecting all the monsters and finishing the main story of Evocreo, I began looking for another game similar to Pokemon which involves catching a huge collection of monsters which finally led me to neo after seeing it had 900+ monsters on the play store screenshot made me fall in love instantly .
Well the beginning of the game was really slow due to starting with a shrubtooth + 4* epic which almost made me quit but i stuck as i become addicted to the amazing story line of the game. Even as my collection grew being a noob wasn’t easy at all. I even had to create my own monstersdex by taking screenshots of unknown monsters (back then the monsterdex was trash)
About a year and half later, i now had some decent monsters which allowed me to progress further in PvE events but PvP was still a no go area. But after joining the forum eailer this year with the help of killerdog guides and the wonderful contribtuons made by other members of the community ive been able to play PvP at least to top 150-200.
Also the 4th anniversary will make it 2 yrs since I started neo
So thanks for the contributions guys you’ve all been of great help
@Phantom00 I have never seen such a devotion to Voidress Ever.
You’ll learn to appreciate her one day.
I have! She has a good moveset, a good design (SCP) and all round is worthy of the mythic position!
@Phantom00 have you seen NTT Resonant’s next game? Right up your alley
Funny story, even if I’ve paid mostly 0 attention to the forum until recently, I’ve been with NM (with a few Breaks) since the very start. I remember in the beginning, when they posted monsters for the naming contests, I thought that Stormloch and Goldtail were the ones I wanted, cause they looked cool. Turns out I still have neither.
Honestly? 6 or 7 years ago, a friend recommended me to DI blue, saying it was like Pokémon, and I ended up just casually sticking through the series. Still remember timing eggs in HI to get free event Arks lol.
My Cousin and I are big Pokemon Fans so we were searching for a Pokemon like Game for Phones, this was how we discovered the game, after a year of playing we got tired of it and quit playing, but now another year later I rediscovered it and now I‘m playing and enjoying it again, even tho I suck in the game.
I got an Apple store gift card for Christmas and was getting tired of Geometry Dash, so I just scoured through the top 100 paid apps list for stuff that looked interesting. Family vacation rolled around, I grabbed 4 random games and tried them all out on the 6 hour car trip there. On the car trip back though, I only managed to get 1 game, guess what game that was lol. Held my attention firmly the entire ride, and afterwards I kinda just totally forgot about the whole rest of my potential games list hahaha. Both then and now my devotion to it has always been fueled by 2 things: the monster designs and the unique battle mechanics. I have a very long history with Pokémon games too, so a lot of the process came very naturally to me.
I think this game has incredible depth in the battle system which puts it well above many others in the genre. Too many of those seem to be about getting the characters with the higher “power rating” and slamming together some damage dealers with a bit of defence and support despite their skills having no real synergy with each other. Neo’s battle system puts them all to shame and it’s much better for it. While on other games you’ll stick every battle on auto-play and do your daily stuff to slowly grind your way to a higher power level, in Neo you will challenge your brain and feel so satisfied when you complete something. You’ll be excited to try out new team building ideas when you get a new monster, rather than thinking “yay this healer is stronger than my other healer so I’ll replace my weak one”.
The soccer game? I’m not that desperate, thank you very much.
He’s talking about the bountiful number of waifus you can add to your collection
This is the first game I bought at Google. I made a lot of friends in this game. I established DLGZ with my friend DLGZ PIG and DLGZ WWW one year’s ago.But DLGZ PIG Left this game four months ago.
I didn’t know you were the founder of DLGZ. It’s probably the most organized and functional clan in the game .
I also find it really cool that you guys offer help to even non members. You contributions are really appreciated. Keep it up
