How did you meet Neo Monsters?

Today this conversation came out in the Clan and we began to talk about it. I tell you my story, a few years ago I was on a website that uploaded paid applications to use (they were not with hack) only that you did not pay to try them so to speak … So, without knowing it I started the tour … and time later with a patch it was blocked and I lost all my achievements … I can’t stand it and I bought the application to never leave Neo again :cupid:

What is your story?

My big brother (oni-chan) bought it on his phone so we can play at least this game together.

Me and my brother aren’t close anymore. When we were younger tho, we were playing almost everyday together. It was when ps2 was at its prime. (I fricking miss ps2 games…)
We were playing tekken 5, digimon rumble arena, teen titans, resident evil 4, etc… we were also hanging out outside, going to the mall, etc…

Obviously, as we grew up, we also grew apart because we weren’t the same little kids. So when he told me to play this “pokemon alike” game together, I was very excited. We played for a month or so but he grew tired and quit but I couldn’t. I didn’t take a break for a year and then comeback for a month, the quit again but alas, I came this time to never be able to quit again.

I still have him as my friend if he ever wants to play again.

I was looking for a good new RPG game in the play store. I wanted something similar to Pokemon and Neo Monsters looked more fun than a few others I spotted. Downloaded it and it wasn’t long before I realised it was nothing like Pokemon, but was actually way better! I’ve been hooked ever since.

My brother’s story… after I played NM for about 1-2 months I told him he’d love it too. However, he stubbornly refused to pay any money to download the app (he doesn’t do this for anything). Fast-forward 1yr 3mon and it was 2nd anniversary of the game, where the game was free to download. I messaged him to let him know, just on the off-chance he might choose to download it. A couple of hours later I was getting spammed by messages about which monsters he should be catching and using. It was a Friday and over Friday-Sunday he played almost non-stop, going for 20-25 hours. He got so addicted straight away and remained even more into the game than I ever had been! Since then we’ve both played multiple times a day and we try to encourage all our friends to download it (of the ones that would enjoy it).

My girlfriend’s story… she would always complain about me playing it around her when she wanted my attention. She’d do a big sarcastic smile and loudly say “YAY, NEO MONSTERS” and frequently tell me how it’s not her kind of game. Then, less than a week ago she downloaded Evertale because she thinks it looks a lot cuter than Neo Monsters. EXACT same outcome as my brother… she’s now hooked and playing it for many hours a day. The last couple of nights on Skype it took me an hour to get her to stop playing so we could watch some TV together. I had to convince her to do her daily achievement of 3 PvPs today otherwise she would’ve been on it all night. She’s even switched to doing Skype on her laptop rather than her phone so she can play Evertale while we’re on there chatting.

She’s a gamer too, so I can get away with it most of the time  First gamer girl I’ve dated, it’s got its pros. However, last night I had to give her a lecture on soul stone management and strategy. She’s quite useless with her resources and it frustrates me to see things used inefficiently.

Hahaha I advise, never tell. I’ve learned that the hard way with past girlfriends. In a few months I bet she’ll be “advising” me on how to play Neo Monsters
