I believe a few of the moderators that are on here are actually staff that helped develop the game, so I’m pretty sure the 1/200 is accurate.
Some were told directly that it was 1/200.
I was told it was 0.5% at first… but then I was told by someone else (who claimed that it was 1/200) that is was, in fact, 1/200. So that’s what I switched to.
Perhaps it’s an average of 0.5% per battle and 1/200 per arkadion.
0.5% is the same as 1/200 ;-)

Lol, no worries. 1/200 seems fairly accurate from what everyone else is experiencing. But for some reason I’m definitely not getting that, or am extremely unlucky. Also, if always getting one after 2000 battles was correct, then I should have seen one by now. Just kind of depressing.
Someone said a dev told them that, so if their information is accurate, it should be.
I remember someone, either a dev or beta tester, saying the same thing before release so it’s probably true. (unless they changed it…)
What dragon are you trying to find, specifically?

I’ve been farming the first tile north of agramis and tried a little while for one of the starter monsters as well to see if I had the same issue with those. Everyone commenting seems to be finding them on the non beta version (I think). I’m wondering if the version for iphone is different in any way from the ipad, maybe the spawn locations are different between devices? I can’t verify any of this though. More data from other players would help a lot.
Non-beta? You mean you have the beta version?
I don’t think it changes across devices. I have never seen an app do that before. And you’re 100% sure you didn’t accidentally kill one?

Just used the metallodious trick and caught 3 of the hatchlings leafy, bluey and Ashie in the space of 4 hours and I haven’t completed the game thanks it worked a treat!
After 2 hrs farming I got a leafy rank c !! Now I finally can create magmawyrm

I haven’t beaten the game yet I just captured metallo then evolved him into mettalodious. I then put him and 2 really low level arkadions then went to the spot where you catch whatever hatchling/starter you desire.
Instead of killing the monsters everytime the arkadion I wanted to catch wasn’t there I just used the move ‘escape’ and it brings you out of battle so you can try again. It speeds up finding the arkadion you want rather than keep wasting time killing them
I got my galey about 20 mins after my last post using the same thing. It took me around 4-5 hours for them I now have all 4 hatchlings upto lvl 60 just about to start farming the starters.

Leafy confirmed tile 1
When farming can I just walk back and fourth as long as the spots are orange and not blue or should I reset by going back into the town after cycling through all the spots?
I got ashore on the second step from the town and the ventowyrm hatchling on the forth in about 2 hours was lucky as ashore was b rank but they do take a very long time to get the hatchlings seem easier than the starters I did two hours and didn’t see anything does anyone know if they are the same or harder to find
