Posted this on Line when people were discussing the new mythic. Some mixed views on it so I wanted to give my two cents.
This joker looks incredibly powerful. It’s Kuraokami but with lower TU moves.
34TU full heal. Crazy defence with 4800HP and hold ground.
69TU double sweeping with dual slayerbane, a 48TU pull back. Or, if no enemies have a kill, you can double sweep or single sweep for 90TU (bloodthirst one-shots most legendaries when he has 0 kills).
The thing about Kuraokami… when fighting it you’re put in an awkward situation where if you kill anything other than Kuraokami you bring a Yuki onto the field and let him double piercing sweep. 59TU snow is irritating for that, he’s usually going to get a turn before you can either take out all the Yuki’s he’s produced or kill him. So Kuraokami can’t really be ignored. Best practice is to stun him or kill him first.
In a similar fashion, Harleking will wreck you if you kill anything other than him. The summon move is even faster and even fully heals him which makes him harder to play around. He also gains stun immunity, which is a weakness of Kurao.
I’m a big fan. I think this monster has a lot going for it. You don’t even need the bronzeshells in your team once bloodthirst is charged. If you’re worried about making bronzeshells in your team then use one or two of the heavy bronzeshell counters that have been designed:
Astrogolem: 30TU loading with 50TU piercing sweeping, all on a stun immune body that shields itself
Dusicyon: 30TU cannibalising while also protecting your bronzeshells with shields
Elephantom: 30TU sendback next (a bronzeshell) then 50TU unwanted ritual to add a bronzeshell randomly in the enemy team. Do that 5 times then send them back for catapult / other throw monsters
I’m unconvinced by this. Harleking creates his own bronzeshells no problem and you don’t really want them in random spots of your team. I don’t think Harleking wants bronzeshells everywhere, he just wants one to keep him company on the field at any given time.
I think better synergies are monsters that can utilise the bronzeshells, like the ones I listed above or other monsters that were created as a counter to Motordragon but never quite did enough. With a 34TU re-usable skill that fully heals the user, you can easily have as many bronzeshells as you want to do your stuff with.
Haha yeah execute is awesome but with bronzeshell substitute being low TU then bloodthirst easily one-shotting Nulltron it’s definitely not too much of a worry.
I still wonder myself why emeraldeus has that dumb link restriction On his SS, i bet if he would be released recently, there wouldnt be a Link restriction
Who would’ve thought the devs would nerf motor by introducing a monster that benefited from his “poison”. I like how the design team thinks. If only the sales management was as sharp, they would be swimming in pools of dollars… and tears… of joy… I guess…
