I never know who has english as their main language and I noticed that there are a lot of people here that don’t. So it’s less of me being a grammer nazi and more me just trying to help.
Exactly thats the point, a troll is only fun, if the one who is being trolled responds… same way bullying is only fun if the person gets mad or responds to it, if he simply goes mehhh, then after a while bullies tend to get bored…(bad comparison, don’t judge me by it, couldn’t think of a better comparison)
you see, I think there are a lot of people here who know english, to a much greater extend than it seems. Take me for example, I can write proper english, without any grammatically incorrect phrases, sentences, or words. But simply don’t because I don’t see the need too, if people get the point why bother spending more time, correcting mistakes, or incorrect sentences, as this forum is not about the grammar but about the content of your post. Yes, I know there is a point where people should proof read their own texts, because no one knows what their saying, but if its understandable, without disrupting the flow of the text, I don’t bother.
Good points, the main reason I stick with proper grammar is that it sends a subconscious message to the reader that says to take the post seriously.
For example, which one of these would you be more likely to listen to?:
“i think deodragon needs a nerf because bad design kills frontline strategy”
Vs
“I think that Deodragon needs a nerf. He kills frontline strategy and because of it, I think he is badly designed.”
Anyway, this isn’t even that big of a deal. Not worth having a huge argument about. To each their own.
A while trolling is funny but anytime after 100000 trolls it’s annoying, real annoying, but nobody stops, because the trolls think it is funny, BUT IT’S NOT. That is what i mean I am a person who likes humour, but there are borders.
Exactly thats makes it funny, I can see by your comments its annoying you. Reading over the this thread, its clear how much you and many more find this troll annoying, thus making it fun to continue for the troller(s)
I know what you mean, Language does give off a first impression, but I’m not the type of person who writes perfect the first time. it takes me several proofreads to get my grammar perfect, so I’ll only do it when needed. But if you can write grammatically correct with ease, then why not use that skill…

Quick tip, never judge a person by their grammar until you know what their first language is. English in particular is stupidly complicated so as a second language I can forgive the odd discrepancy.
Spanish is my second, and once I got to the tenses, I made a personal resolution to never judge a foreigner for bad English grammar again.

A temporary ban for trollers? Just an idea. Trollers makes the game bad although the game is the best i’ve ever played on mobile.
Trolling doesn’t actually break any forum rules (although i’ve argued that they do since posts should be informative, but on other forums and a while ago now). As annoying as it is it’s not banworthy. That being said I’m just going to use a little bit of moderator license to stop this one since it’s just been going on for too long now.
Besides 90% of the time it only works cause they don’t know who to believe, so the green tag helps solve that at least.
