Giehretus (poll and discussion thread)

you still have FL Unicera or Gaiawolf

or maybe even geocosma

Stop all this now don’t ask for nerf. Just released and people started crying.

I’m not saying directly that this monster needs nerf. But as a player who is quite experienced and competitive in PVP, I did an analysis and I dare to guarantee that the analysis I gave was close to valid.

And I can only see the one who Will cry ,is player who spend 80 ticket and pretend this monster is not op lmao

Then who’s fault is this? Person who buys? Or Dev’s who release such mons and nerf after some guys spend years of saving ? Maybe a small thing for people p2w but what about f2p. I have tickets but still considering whether to buy or not even knowing maybe gonna nerfed in future and again if I didn’t buy people with this mons making the things difficult for me.
Who is responsible? Give me ans.

How about the one who create this monster. ( At the first place this monster not fix anything and only make everything become worse ) . I am already said that tbh .

And I am sure the one who buy this monster know ,this monster is op, sure they know this monster have potential to get nerfed in the future

Have you guys seen a 101% speed strawbaba? I really can’t imagine it’s fun to play against :skull:

This monster is broken af. So dumb. I can’t.

That day unown used fast sendback into grizzleguard , and straw got a turn , the whole game i was trying to catch and get rid off the annoying token, luckily i could use true hit since grizz has protect ,very annoying monster , but i imagine this without grizz :skull::skull:

There’s always that risk when hatching or buying from the shop we have to accept it. You would be a fool to think shop monsters are immune to changes. However, if the monster is completely changed, there will be a chance to refund. Look at what happened with Flocco and Dusci. Then there was the recent example of Soral which kept its moves but was nerfed substantially.

The Dusci rework was actually a very successful one, but Flocco is a bit weird now. It kinda counters sleep but doesn’t do it properly. It also has kinda useful damage moves but at some point it will have zero targets. Soral was also nerfed a bit too hard, wouldn’t be surprised if it was buffed in the future. Keep in mind that these monsters may receive buffs as well!

Im aware its a strong monster , but what im saying is lately people call to nerf every new monster which doesn’t make any sense , i hope devs come with better solution fot fast fls , and bring couners to the critical monsters causing problems like prixs and char and also this new one

I know . I just answer the previous question .

Yes I know its a bit to much ,Well they won’t ask nerf If the Monster is completely normal take example Ayna and not game changing monster

Yes We only hope Dev make solution

And the goat…
Come on… ppl aren’t that dumb

Actually when first time NYX, Prixis and Soral released . Some player tell those monster is trash :joy:

@Dev_VKC When Nyx appeared, I imagined that someday there would be a monster with skills that would reverse the SPD numbers. I think this monster is very unique and interesting. Users who have played PvP several times know that basically higher SPD is more advantageous, so monsters with lower SPD were rarely used. Thanks to this monster, increasing the use of monsters with low SPD will definitely lead to diversity, and I think it will increase new strategies, so I think it’s a good attempt. Come to think of it, when I looked at the icons for the first time in a while, I was surprised to see an icon for 3000 monsters! I look forward to seeing you continue to design monsters that change the meta and expand the range of strategies.

Unique but also too much.

Every new monsters will most likely to be unique anyway. Come on

Why don’t you say something like that with Goat or Ayna?

Slow monsters are fine, the problem is fast frontline.

I agree, but I think it should be 1x inverse speed +15-25sec, he feels unstoppable right now. I’ve made a team that’s the definition of hit or miss to see how far I could push it and he still controls the battle so much even when the front completely fails. That being said he’s a beautiful design and I love love love the concept of it, some of my favorite units are lower speed so he’s incredible

At this point it feels like Devs are completely losing the plot. I was saving for Soral, it got nerfed hard, now they release this broken Mythic that will likely get nerfed, so better not spend just yet.
I feel like they should start running a week long trial where the new monster is available to all players for that week so at least we can collect some more accurate data on how the monster actually affects gameplay, then adjust it if needed and only then release it. It’s starting to look very fishy as it seems devs are intentionally releasing broken monsters to force players to spend but obviously knowingly that a nerf will be applied soon after and that’s unacceptable.

So this monsters concept and artwork are all excellent. The moveset is quite great, strong but nothing too crazy. The Equilibrium Passive is much more where this monster becomes a problem than it’s Defense Buff passive. A couple of examples were given so far in combination, but the impact this thing has is a bit more permanent than just what combos well with it, and it falls into the same boat as Charybdia, Flocco, Dusicyon, Magmarinus, Padrinorca, and many others like this. The fact is that this monsters mere existence changes the game and how you play/build.

Here is the lowdown : when building a team, you want a monster to protect you from Stun, so you put in a Stun Counter Monster, which means you have to account for your opponent having a monster with Chrono moves that your monster is weak to, so maybe you put in an AP, and now have to cover for monsters with Protector Killer/True Hit moves and have to counter, and so on and so forth and what not.

The issue with this monster is that there isn’t really a counter for it’s ability, combined with its bulk, make it very rare to counter pending building your team specifically around countering it. For Charybdia it’s been assessed that awakened Unicera (not 2nd form mind you) can take it out with Kinbreaker and maybe like Jurmulunge and some other Toxic Killer monster that has high speed can work together to kill Charybdia before it gets a turn, but these are small instances, not guaranteed, and further Garner and change a players ability to build their team around countering a single monster rather than a single strategy.

This monster is in the same boat as Bastia, it’s ability being field affecting and changing the premises of the game in such a way that it destabilizes the balance and changes how team building is affected. This is why it needs a nerf of some type because otherwise it is going to change the game and make power creep worse by creating even stronger monsters rather than limiting the effectiveness of current/brand new ones.

Giehretus will get a nerf of some kind, don’t be fooled to think otherwise.

Giehretus Equilibrium is bad for the game in general, it supports fast fl then supports the tanky mythics that grant you absolute control over the game.

It’s basically a win more monster
