I certainly think there is a place for it, it helps new players which is cool.

That being said, it does not help players who have been around for years as much as a real deal would. As Enjin said, this is the 5th in a row. So in reality, it’s constantly catering to one portion of the player base, while alienating the 96% of people who answered this poll who are probably much more dedicated players. Also, the package deal really doesn’t help intermediate to older players much at all. Gem deals, on the other hand, objectively help more evenly across the player base, regardless of experience level.

There’s got to be balance in these things. Yes, provide packages for newer players. But newer players and older players have very different needs, and every once in a while it’s not unreasonable to offer something that benefits older players as well.

I think that’s a valid perspective, but I believe we can all agree that 5 in a row is probably overkill on pandering toward inexperienced/new players, right?

Agree. Even a 1:3 2x to treasure chest ratio would seem reasonable. So I don’t think its about appealing to the new players as much as it is about money. They seem to think they’re making more money off of this.

So oh well. I gave them enough money to buy a PS4 and some of a VR and I do now regret that LOL. They’re unlikely to get another dime out of me again. And they’ll definitely never get a penny until the guarantee comes back.
