Hey all. Any recommendations on how many gems to save? Currently I’m getting a good amount of legendaries, I am far from having all of them obviously, but I do have a good collection at this point . I try to only put gems towards banners that I don’t have any of the legendary from, and then typically quit after I get one of them. I try to follow killerdogs guide on when and how to hatch, but I’m wondering if it would be more beneficial at this point to save up a good amount of gems and then just proceed to spend a fair amount on a mythic banner with a pity counter. Seems like you can get a fair amount of legendaries and a mythic that way from a few videos I’ve seen. I always a keep my minimum at 500 and just would love a recommendation on how long I should save and if I should change my habits from now. Thanks all!
On average it will take 1600 gems to awaken a mythic on a special banner (less on a festival banner). 400 gems/shard if you go based on the hatch chances. So if you’re looking to get all four shards of a certain mythic, you should have at least 2100 gems if you take into account 500 for the shrine
Basically what @Exu said, except he got all the numbers wrong because the odds of getting a featured mythic are 0.75% not 1%. The mythic hatch rate is also the same for both special eggs and festivals so he got that wrong too lol.
So that would be ~2133 gems to awaken a featured mythic, ~533 gems for one copy of a featured mythic, and at least ~2600 gems to awaken a mythic and have enough gems left over for the shrine.
I forgot there wasn’t a difference between mythic hatch rates on special eggs and festivals, also should have taken into account that the mythic can be something else than the featured, sorry I’m tired
