I want to do this thread to ask more experienced players for help on what to spend gems, in a couple of months or a quarter I intend to reach 1000 and so many gems and I would like to know what I should spend them on
mythical to wake up (these are mythical that I would like to wake up and want to know which one should be first)

IMO sakura and huskie are pretty op, y draig is also splendid, can be used with link fire pretty well or even solo you should choose the one which suits ur set up the best, as for the leggie, i would go for nova, hes a perfect low TU sweeper and can turn the tide, many will corroborate this

Well anniversary monsters are always op save fir those if you want to hatch 1000+ gems .
We got a moku ,cynthia , orca previously which are all top tiers .
Well it all depends COLTRAZ awakened nikki in less than 500 gems.
But yes I have heard from a lot of players that the average gems required is 1600-1800 on special 1400 for festival and 1000-1200 for anniversary.
I think I have the best experience in awakening mythics around here and I can definitely tell you that you might need to spend around 1800 gems in average.
AVERAGE does not mean that with 1800 gems you can awaken a mythic guaranteed! Depends a lot from luck
Going for specific mythics/legendaries is how you’re going to end up wasting all your gems. What you need to is value quality AND quantity. If you’re able to save up gems then you’ll always be able to target the best eggs for you, so that’s a good start.
Wait until there is an egg that features the right combination of monsters. Say you want Novadrake, don’t just hatch on a Novadrake egg. Hatch on an egg which features Novadrake, another 1-2 of your favourites that you don’t own and a mythic that is powerful in 2nd form. Make sure you also don’t have any of the featured. Then hatch eggs until you hatch one of the featured legendaries. When you do, stop. Hatching the featured mythic is a slightly different situation. You may decide you don’t want extra copies of it or that ultimately you want it awakened so you’ll keep going for the legendaries and any extra copies are just bonus (this is how I ended up awakening Aethereon - two different eggs where I was getting unlucky on the legendaries).
When your collection is not massive it should be easy enough to find eggs where you don’t own any of the featured and at least two of the legendaries are ones you desperately want, plus the mythic is a good one. That’s why you stop as soon as you get one of them. No point hatching on worse odds than you might find in the next few weeks.
Festivals are the best, if they happen to feature things you want. Good special eggs will have 3% total chance of you getting one of the legendaries/mythics you are going for. So if a festival has 3%+ of getting what you want from it then it’s worth going for. Otherwise, you’re probably better off skipping it.
