Not, they are not hackers.

The Devs were experimenting with time zones to help those in Asia because they were the ones that usually get shafted in the OM launch

I think that the idea has been nixed, though

EDIT: so in other words: they got it during their launch time zone because they are technically a day ahead

I am in Korea.  I get up at 7:00 am sunday.

Some people here are in Indonesia & MAlaysia & have to wake up before 6am if they wanted the OM prize.

They chose Japan because Japanese people are a big portion of the players & needed to test different times for the OM.

& No it doesn’t affect the global pool, mentioned by Admin.
