Festival egg = scam

First of all let me start off by saying I don’t mind spending money on apps I enjoy, this game is pretty fun. But seriously the devs must be on some really hard drugs if they think that festival egg gives you a higher chance at legendaries and super epics in comparison to the regular. $200 for 1 legendary rofl, where as on the normal egg i got 4 legendaries with $100.

This app in terms of guaranteed luck is a total scam, theres literally no incentive to spend money trying to get legendaries because the luck is dog shit.

Hey devs how about you stop being tight asses and reward people who support the app rather than shanking us in the ass with a rusty bloody knife.

Yeah I’m in the same boat. I spent a comparable amount and got buyers remorse. I did land 5-6 legendaries (not the point). None were new. I am one of their Ca$h Cow$. Now it’s not money that I couldn’t afford to lose. However I didn’t feel I was getting value by any means for it. I could have used that money on more important things rather than getting 6 of my legendaries moves a few seconds faster. There really should be a system in place that guarantees exclusive monsters if a certain set of conditions are met (Hunter Island had the dungeons, which I feel we’re a hit). Now correct me if I’m wrong the current festival egg offers 23 legendaries ONE of which is the featured monster. So if you are in a position were you have most legendaries and you are just gunning for the featured monster… Then that’s a meager 4.3% chance statistically of you landing that particular monster. So perhaps to guarantee yourself the monster you’ll need to hit the gold bar 23 times. Now if we’re over there spending $200 ($4600 with that luck to guarantee you the exclusive monster) to get one gold bar hit, developers will get ther money at first, but the value that your getting would be low. Having said this, I am with Lochi: I’m no longer going to invest so much as another penny in this game until the value for my money is being assessed properly.

I’m not sure how the devs are going to make this right, if ever, but I highly suggest that those reading this take my same stance, or else you can expect more of the same. The problem won’t get fixed until their passive cashflow changes to say the least.

Just sounds like crappy luck to me. Or amazing luck on the normal eggs.

I doubt they give a shit. The model works. Players start the game, get addicted, spend $300+, complain or get bored the quit.

I like this game a lot less than their previous games, but only spent the entry fee to get those and I’ve spent over £200 on this which I don’t think is as fun.

This game is designed to exploit gamblers and the odds are so low they make a killing.

yeah for real Money wasted

@Dark matter

Spot on, Most games will generally have a pretty good system in place for people who buy the most expensive package whether it be like 100% extra value or whatever, this game though holy shit it seems like its got a pretty big player base having been suggested this by a friend was suprised i hadn’t come across it sooner but the value for money spent is horrendous.

@Dark Matter @icon
I don’t usually comment on forums but I made this account just so I could complain on here about the festival eggs. I agree with you 100%. I’ve spent ridiculous amounts of money on this game. I got it fairly recently, really liked it, and played it almost every day. I must have rolled the wheel 150 times on a non festival day and I got 9 legendaries (7 plus 2 repeats), which I didn’t think was too awful. However it came to light that festival eggs apparently gave you “ultra high chance” of getting a legendary, which made me very excited. So, between two accounts I put in £130 and rolled. Yes I could see that there were in fact more super epic slots and 2 more legendary slots, however not once in those 60 or so rolls did, I landed on the legendary slot zero times. Yes ZERO. What a joke. I mean, I would have even have been okay with the chance being the same and getting 3-4 legendaries, but to get absolutely nothing of interest, not even a duplicate, is frankly ridiculous.

I have in fact messaged Neo Monsters on there facebook about this and am awaiting a reply. I am also considering taking them up with the ASA about there false advertising.

If this has happened to you, please make an account and comment something.

As @dark matter said, nothing will happen unless we make it happen.

What we need to do is get a clear cut plan on what changes we want to happen in regards to this and get a large percentage of the games community to agree and sign a petition
My suggestion to fix this egg problem is

In regards to festival and special eggs
I believe this is how it works
During a special egg all odds are the same
But if you land on the legendary icon you get a slightly higher chance to get featured monster but it’s not that much higher of a chance

During festivals the odds remain the same but the chance to get epics is slightly decreased, same deal with the featured monster

So in theory normal egg and festival egg roles are basically the same as the odds don’t increase enough to make a difference

I think you should increase the odds for a legendary by a bit during festival egg rolls make these times the chances for people to get legendaries like if you roll 5 eggs you are guaranteed a very high chance to roll a legendary like 50% or more and if you roll 10 eggs you are guarntedd 1 or 2 in that time I hate to see players leave and this plus the chance to win gems Ingame would keep the game more alive without changing much as well as increasing the weekly gem reward to 5 gems
If we can get a large portion of players to agree on this or something better we might have a chance to sway them to make the changes

Well I certainly agree, plus if anything it encourages more buying during these periods, so they’re not really losing out if they go with something like this.

Even if the odds do stay the same for a festival. The advertisement for the festival is “ultra high chance to get legendaries and super epics”, which is obviously completely wrong! It needs to be changed.

They do need to change the advertisement
As it is false I have had better luck during regular egg rolls over festival egg rolls
Buckingham in the suggestion post mentioned a game factor in hearthstone I actully really like this concept

add a pity roll so if someone rolls X amount without legendary when they reach the amount they are given a legendary it resets if they land on a legendary no matter how far they where from the pity roll For example I get 60 eggs I roll them I get to the last egg no legendarys the last egg will always be legendary
But if I rolled 60 eggs but got a legendary before the last egg roll, the last egg roll would no longer be a guaranteed legendary

You guys make all those big speeches and when the next festival egg comes in you will all be posting again complaining about how unfair the game is.
You see the problem here? STOP SPENDING!
I haven’t spent anything and still think the game offers very little reward for the time I put in. Spending hundreds or thousands is ludicrous and you have no right to complain if things are not changing. The amount if money spent gives the devs what they want, so why change?
The only way the devs will take a huge hit and move quickly is when people stop buying gems. It’s simple as that.

You can’t stop people from spending
Your own opinions on the game are entirely yours
But the game can change so far the game you could say is still in the beta stages the devs have listen to us at various points and have made changes accordingly the idea I put forward for egg spins would actually give them more money and a bigger fan base at the end of the day my suggestions are to help you guys as it doesn’t really effect me

One spender goes, another spender comes. The cycle probably would never end lol.

The game will always be money game but little tweaks will help reward players for spending
The reason a lot of this suggestions are turned down is because they are not supported so the devs over look them and that’s a fact

Don’t think I’ll be spinning till the older special releases are added to the list. Apollorexis, goldtail, ultimadragon, bahamuzar, aegisdragon, polareon

I would wait till all 900 monsters are released and the pvp is fully out and the game is past its trial stages and the old special and festival eggs are added to the wheel

You’re right yes. However, that’s not the point we’re making. I only got the game very recently and had not previously encountered a festival.

Spending the money isn’t the issue. If you have spare money, better spending it here than on drugs and alcohol or whatever. The point is that they’ve clearly falsely advertised, and that’s just wrong!

I’m going to make it very simple
This game is not finished yet
I have spent a little over 1000 for this game now that may seem a lot but in the world of app gaming it’s nothing 1000 dollars would event get you a Max barb in coc
As the game is unfinished and not fully tweaked out there is little reason to worry about egg rolls
Think of it like this when you buy the gems the money is already gone you can’t get it back so what ever you get for egg rolls dosent really matter if you don’t spend a single gem you could have saved quite a few up before the festivals
Also Ingame you only need a last biter big spending only really comes in for pvp
And even then I have fought free players that have had very strong teams and good strategy
As the game progress the devs will reward long term players and my suggestion for egg rolls and petty rolls would help a lot without the game losing money
Also don’t spend what you can’t afford to lose

Dunno, I think there’s a lot of fun to be had on drugs and alcohol
