Auto Protect skills are cancerous by default. Pure RNG and nothing else.
This game desperately needs to be less luck-based.
Sleep is 99% RNG, Death Revenge is mostly RNG, Auto Protect is all about RNG, not to mention damage variance plays an important factor in many cases.
Since we’re talking about Auto Protect, I think the Devs shouldn’t buff RAW/nerf protectors: Auto Protect as a whole needs to be reworked.
Auto Protectors should become less efficient when there’s multiple of them in the battlefield.
I thought of this: the chance of a single protector redirecting an attack is 66%. The percentage should instead be:
P = 0.66/(2.5)^(n-1)
where n is the number of APs.
That way, with ONE protector, the chance to redirect is 66%.
With TWO protectors, each one has a 26.4% chance of redirecting the attack, which means the global chance of the attack getting redirected is 45%.
With THREE protectors, each one has a 10.56% chance of redirecting the attack, which means the global chance of the attack getting redirected is 28.45%.
Of course this would only apply to AP, not AP+ or regular Protectors.
I’m not feeling the complaints this time anymore. We have so many ways to counter it now…

Whats more cancerous is AP protecting another AP rofl… it costed me a game against Gary when his gearcroc kept blocking my stealthbane on his sherloid… I laughed out loud at my pathetic luck rofl

I still stand by the fact that when two APs are in play with the same odds of protection, there should be no chance of the other AP redirecting from the targeted AP. Like protect killer.

I also feel like there’s loads of counters to them now. If AP spam is becoming the meta then start playing the counters. The only worrying bit to me is using Leira, Lunactia or Nagandia to start a rocklock that disables many of the counters. Then they can quite freely run AP spam with monsters that have tracking/focused attacks

If out of all the strategies out there, you decide to run AP Spam, you are an absolute

I started running this team to troll a certain clan of AP Spammers and it was just so much fun demolishing AP Spammers with irony that I decided to stick with it.

Great! I’ve always prided myself on experimenting and discovering new combos. I hope that one day when I’ve left Neo and some asks who was best at team building / PvP, my name will be one of the many names mentioned 
Rocklock is a lot of fun. As I change my team each season, I haven’t run it for a long time, but Gary runs it very well.
