Enough with the buffing

I think we can all agree that the recent events are getting seriously carried away with buffing the enemies’s stats. The UC is by far the most prominent case of course, but it is by no means the only one. Both of the brand new events feature it in spades as well, as do the online missions, and I’m pretty sure the main story and super challenge battles too. Just saying, given the sheer amount of it there is, Bucky might as well just edit the pve tier list to show favor to the ones that can overcome it.

What I think we need is a new type of event completely devoid of buffs, just to give everyone a break. I was thinking maybe it could be “rise of the hoards” or something, where people face up with an increasingly large queue of monsters. And don’t get me wrong, the idea of facing other people’s teams is pretty cool, but I honestly think that feature has been rather overrepresented too. Maybe instead we could face randomly assembled teams that over time simply add more monsters, and better ones.

I mean, the events we have right now are still spot on of course, I don’t expect you to change them. I just think I speak for about everybody when I say that we could really use a reprieve from unfair fights.

Agreed when talking about the UC. That’s over the top. Survival of the fittest got a bit to hard to quick, but I believe that the last 30 battles should be pretty hard.

And the island challenge is spot on right now. Maybe buff poison damage/bloodcrave a bit more in that mode so that sleep/stun strategiess aren’t the only thing that work, but other than that, I think it’s a really good mode.

It’d be too easy man. I can’t count how many times the CPU had a chance to win but choices an AOE or stealth teammate instead. If they weren’t buffed, they wouldn’t necessarily require strategy. For example, I’d be able to use my assisted water and wipe an entire team.

I do agree to some extent though. I think poison should still be a viable strategy. It would open it up more rather than just using sleep or stun. I never understood why dreamhunt does such consistent damage. It doesn’t scale like timestrike or the blood attacks do. Poison eater and double poison eater should be just as strong.

I agree completely, we always get events where the hard stuff are the buffs.
Its time to change that for a while, as you said, fighting a team of obly legendaries or a team of 30 monsters ( no buffs ) would be really challanging and fun :slight_smile:

Would love this as well facing a team of 50 monsters at normal stats would be just as challenging as buffing them.

I try 141-150 today
