So the new encore egg says there’s 2x a chance of getting a specific legendary. Does this mean the chance of getting a legendary is doubled or is the overall chance the same, it’s just that if you get a legendary it’s more likely to be one of those two?
Most importantly, how do these compare to festival eggs?
From my understanding, the chances are just the same but if you land on a legendary you have 2X the chance of getting that featured legendary monster. I’ve never been lucky on encore eggs, all my legendary’s that I’ve gotten were from festival eggs. But that’s not to say you won’t get a legendary on encore eggs. I know of someone who got 6 legendary’s from one encore egg event. Sometimes it depends on how lucky you are.

you have a 1/50 chance to get a legendary from encore eggs and normal eggs, the chance is 1/18 from festival eggs

Yeah the chances are still the same for a legendary but you have a 2x chance of getting those 2 legends over any other legend on the wheel, I’ve spun a few and rolled on the legendary and just got a mon which you can always get, it’s kinda disappointing. Also I’d say it’s only worth the roll for awesome legendaries like ultima or nebel and atra IMO, otherwise I’d still just roll festivals, statistically speaking there is only a 4/26 chance you will get one of the featured legendaries on this egg so even if you do roll legendary those odds are still really low, if there’s only 1 featured mon it’s 2/25 chance so once again still not very high considering to roll legend it’s 1/50 on encore eggs. So if you wanna risk those odds go ahead otherwise don’t 
I like them personal. Find I have luck on regular eggs instead of festival eggs
