Cost limit for pvp

Okay, first couple of times it was nice, now its just boring and stupid, besides with all this secret skills its harded to make a team, so devs (looking at u kfc) please, if you guys dont know how to implement a different rule or dont want to or what ever, just let us play without rules

I like 173 cost but definitely don’t want to go lower like when we had 100 cost or 8 monsters only. They was awful

I like cost limits. Makes a megabomb based midline work better.

Actually this is great idea,I like limited PvP but not too limited.
Only 8 means win for NR or pengborg.and 100 is too low for building a tram logically. But it would be better if devs changed it with some rules too,for example from time to time (not all PvP) it would be great if we forced to make only one element team,meaning players chooses their elements and building a team with only that element. I think this should be fun.but again it must be only once per month :wink:

Personally i didn’t liked it,i prefere a PvP whitout cost limit simply because i’m not at making teams yet and end up losing every game.

I think the challenges are good tbh, it makes the pvp meta completely different each time and just makes it interesting. If it were the same each time it would eventually get boring.

Also i’m waiting for the pvp that forces you to use one element.

Or a pvp without give turn or team turn, that would mess with many peoples head.

Pvp with single element rules is not right.
Surely those who has many legendaries or more meta in single element will reign… more cost limit rule is much better. IMO

Not just pvp, any event with a limitation challenge is wanted. Really want those for an online event:
Buff for an element (not like sotf buff, a really op buff that will make 2 stars useable for sweeping)
Buff for a move (like poison)
Or anything like that.

And limitations for pvp sounds good but since buffs wont happen for pvp (or is it?), many players will strugle cuz they lack of a big legendery pool.

Making a party is fun and challenging. I go for more limit or condition pvp and pve events!

I honestly have no idea why anyone would complain about them using cost limits in PvP sometimes. Maybe it’s annoying for people who’ve played for many months and are hero level 100+ with many legendaries but not everyone has enough legendaries to fill a 200 cost team and have all their secret skills unlocked. Even if you do, wouldn’t you rather having some PvP sessions where you have to adapt your team and think how best you could make a team under new conditions?

I remember only a few short months ago people were saying how much they loved the restriction of 173 max cost. With secret skills it needed to be increased and I much prefer the new max but for some variation in PvP and to let newer players stand a chance I think the occasional PvP with max cost 173 is great.

Btw, I am hero level 146 and have played about 10-11 months. Played completely for free and have 13 legendaries. Just saying in case you think I’m some newbie moaning about higher level players.

I too agree that 8 monster limit in PvP is very bad. You can sweep through 8 monsters way too easily with the right setup. Also, anything below 150 max cost limit is too low. I enjoyed the 150 max cost PvP they did one time but any lower and you’re restricted way too much.

So the PvPs I’d like are:

  • no limit
  • max cost 173
  • max cost 150

What I’d like to see is PvPs with certain elements boosted. Something like “X element has stats boosted by 20% (or 25%?)”. They could even do two elements at once to make it less restrictive. Nothing major so it doesn’t affect PvP too much and make people without the element/s struggle but making it interesting and encouraging people to try different things.

The point is to make you think though. There are a lot of ways you can impose certain rules on the game to make it a little more interesting.

A lot of games nowadays have like tavern brawls or weekly challenges where the game rules are messed about with. I think that the pvp should be kinda like that, a challenge.

173 cost is fine, thats what it used to be. When unlocking secret skills, you should think whether the extra cost is worth it or not

It was interesting ofc to the players that has many choices of monsters but i dont see how it was good to the players that has only limited monsters to choose from. Its not even a challenge. Its massacre.IMO

If we could know if the SS will cost 16 or 14 it could help the decision
