After checking things out, we found a configuration error in the Rodeknight egg that caused Mythic monsters not to hatch, except through guaranteed hatches, during a short period. The issue was fixed shortly after we saw the report in this thread.
As compensation for this chance-based error, we’ll be refunding 50% of the Gems spent on the Rodeknight egg during the affected period. The refunded Gems will be added directly to your Gem inventory.
Affected Period: Before 2025-10-27 06:28:32 AM (UTC)
A few notes:
- This issue only affected the Rodeknight egg — all other eggs are working as intended.
- Hatches made after the above time won’t be compensated.
- An in-game notice will go out soon, and compensation Gems will be automatically added to affected accounts.
We’re really sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and support while we improve our systems.

Thanks for letting a full clan spending thousands of gems on a mid tier mythic just to farm it all back. Great job as per usual 
But when I and @GMagic had to go 1200 for a single copy of Goliatherion you waited for a week to reply to us, even though we discovered it and reported it instead of opening 100+ packs on that banner.

I hatched the wrong Banner, no Compensation for me :((
I’m glad I was never interested in Rodeknight, I just awakened Nyx and moved on.
The highest number of packs hatched is around 70. We did not observe any exploitation in these hatches, as the affected accounts even missed the guaranteed hatch three times.
The previous issue was about the wrong monster being obtained. We exchanged the correct monster for the incorrect one and allowed players to keep the wrong one as a bonus, so there was nothing unfair about that situation.
This time, however, the problem involves odds. In this case, the only fair way to compensate is to provide value that’s better than the average expected outcome.

Yes it was. That was literally the last day of that banner and those who wanted to awaken (me included) were going all out because how could you tell if the next pack would be actually the monster you wanted.
This is literally the same scenario. They all were opening to awaken same as we did. And they only got featured mythic at 30th pack. Same as we did. I hate this picking of situations where you actually refund people but when we reported whatever happened you just sent a bunch of Goliatherion copies down the throat and called it a day.
Oh yeah completely normal to dump 3K gems for a non meta mythic during the Anni.
Happy for them to successfully pull that off.

Please lift the ban on Far Cry’s forum account. Someone has banned him from speaking. Chinese people have not done anything wrong. If this matter cannot be clarified from vkc.no one will know that it is a bug. You should not slander Chinese people.

Its a whole different story, there was no 7★ monster and we didnt receive a S+ tier mythic like you did, in fact you have received two mythics for the price of one knowing well that the egg was bugged, we didnt know and kept rolling and thought it was bad luck until everyone started posting about it
even 50% compensation is on the lower end, usually the mythics cost between 800-900, in my case its 1200 gems spend 400-300 above average but i just say its bad luck

Bro. This forum has 50% of the posts about moaning and asking for refunds. So no, noone here is ever silenced.
I am just personally fed up with their total incompetence and picking and choosing who to redund and who to refuse to reply for a week.
