Yes, and in his case it made sense to us as he said:
Our solution is for the players who hatched the monsters they were supposed to hatch.
What Iāve said a few times now is we wouldnāt have spent the number of gems to get to the pity timer if the egg correctly spit out the featured mythic that had its chances boosted in the egg.
Youāre assuming we knew the extent of the error the moment we saw a Rozaliz show up, which we obviously didnāt find out the extent of it until later.
Iām not sure how the community would feel about two players using gems to ultimately discover that a featured mythic was only attainable in the pity egg, canāt speak for them there.

If goalith was completely overridden by then why didnāt I hatch that green bird legendary which was on rozaliz banner
this is just plain bad luck,
you hatched 18 packs on the banner and there are people who have hatched upwards of 60 packs without getting the featured legendery before,
so you not getting the birb in 18 is not unheard of and is something that can happend.

@Dev_VKC I just hit pity for fyrielle on this new banner. Idk if it was bad luck or maybe bugged? I guess we can see if others had the same issue
Iām at 474 after trying to get Tremorgore. Didnāt even hatch on the Goliath banner even though I would like to have Goliath, Iām just finding this series of events a bit unfair.
I think this is exactly the point why gems should be refunded in this case. We donāt even know if the same error happened with another banner in the past and went unnoticed.
I thought the rewards were fine, until people started getting additional compensation, which means that many got the incorrect amount on the first time. Really not a good look. And as I said earlier we are powerless to check the actual numbers and are relying on the companyā¦ Which first messed up the bannerā¦ And then messed up even the compensation. I think the most fair move would to bite the bullet and issue a gem refundā¦ Surely trust and transparency are more important to Zigza than a few people ātrying to get compensatedā?

How could we know the egg was wrong? All we knew is that Rozaliz was appearing in the egg pool - after posting my initial 9 packs.
Then @GMagic posted that he in fact got Goliatherion copy from this banner.
So obviously I was opening more packs since my plan was to awaken the only mythic I was missing from the aviable banners on that day.
We had no way of knowing that the only way to get the Goliatherion copy was to hit 30 packs on it. We only got to this conclusion after spending that much.
We also could not predict what would be the solution to this mishap. Also this was the last day of this egg. I even said this:
Thatās why we then asked for you to consider pushing the egg to the later date.

I think itās worth noting that Exu and I donāt often agree, but we do here. The āsolution,ā while well intentioned, didnāt make the players whole again.

Yeah, think if this happens in future with a newbie player and they say hereās your replacement. What trust value the game have.

This isnāt directed at @Dev_VKC personally, I know this isnāt his call to make individually. But something I do know as someone who answers for both employees above and below me, itās obvious when an answer ignores an inconvenient truth.

He is also the victim of the bugged banner. He is HR67 player and for small account players gems do matter. But donāt worry ālife is too short to argue just smile and move onā is his moto.
The difference is - he propably burned gems to get them back. Me and @GMagic hatched excessively just to find out that Goliatherion was only in the pity. We would not spend full 30 packs if we knew that the advertised mythic was not even in the egg. Players who after my post went and burned all of their gems for a way to double them do not deserve refunds.

Nah he is not in the forum and didnāt know about that banner being bugged until next day when he saw the announcement. He hatched after seeing KDs video on fast sweeper.

At this point the devs should do an event like anniversary rn so everyone can get 200 gems, Noellemon should receive 400 gems because she is at 80 gems (paid) and she just bought a 300 gem pack and needs it for shrine in a few days. We can call it womenās history month event
