In the Hongua banner there were errors with a legendary and there was no refund of gems, that was two anniversaries ago, many players spent everything thinking that they would get their gems back, they tried to take advantage of the error and it went wrong for them
Two cents hereâŚ
I think thereâs a valid argument for refunded gems if you:
- Hatched for the Beetle
- Got a Roz in a mythic egg early on, say 4-5 packs in
- Hatched until pity
Iâm not sure how youâd know there was an issue that would completely prevent you from ever hatching the beetle until pity at that point. The only reason we discovered that was because @Coltraz and I did it to try to figure out what was going on.
If the above scenario happened to anyone, one mythic ticket in exchange for like 25 packs worth of gems probably isnât fair. Iâd advocate for that person getting their gems back.
conspiracy theory
The odds were very very weird on that one - at least for me - getting Rozaliz (featured), then 4 standard pool myths in a row and then finally a guaranteed Goliatherion copy as a 300th egg (Pity counter).
What was the result for me - I opened 30 packs and with the weird amount of standard myth copies I got to awaken basically from pity, getting refunded 1 copy and using 6 tickets to finish it off.
I wonât complain as it is not necessarily bad outcome (for me). But those 4 (well 5, if you count Rozaliz) off banner myths (and looking at other people ridiculous number of standard pool ones) looked fishy. ![]()
I too got 2 rozaliz but 3 off banner mythic and wierdely I only got angelion but didnât got any copy of green bird legendary
And I got atleast 6 legendary which werenât featured and I think I got only 2 angelion
@Dev_VKC My friend just wants to know whether he will get 2 more copies as compensation or not.
its currently past midnight in japan and was quite late when you asked earlier today in japan. devs are likily not at work but should be back in 5-6 houers ish so patience is key to get your answare
Thanks mate ![]()
Itâs hard to distinguish between people who have exploited and people who have legitimately hatched. If they reversed all the hatches and then people hatched again and got worse results than the first time, they will complain and itâs a bit unfair to them. There is no easy way for the developers to win. What they did was something that compensated players for the problem but didnât too greatly reward players who tried to exploit the bug.
There has to be some level of trust between players and the developers about bugs. The reality is that some bugs will happen. When they are bugs that affect gems (or similar) then we must not knowingly exploit them. The developers have a responsibility to keep the game fair for everyone. They cannot let players benefit from exploitation of bugs, because it is unfair to everyone else.
So when you exploit it should be very clear you are doing something wrong, not logical. What the developers should do in response to this exploitation is not just remove all benefit but also punish players who are looking for an unfair advantage. If you manage to get away without punishment then you are lucky. Many times it is hard for them to figure out who is innocent and who is exploiting. However, when it is easy to separate the players then they will almost always be punished.
Keep that in mind before you say it is logical for a player to try and get the best advantage they can. Youâre disrespecting all other players of the game when you do it.
I canât remember the specifics in the TOS, but basically our rights are tied to proper use of a functioning app. If something is unintended then we do not have some right for compensation or to avoid punishment, especially if itâs clear that it is not working as intended.
I recommend that if you encounter a bug regarding gems/spending then you immediately report it privately to the developers and do not tell anyone. If itâs something that other people might make a mistake with (e.g. a monster is featured but not appearing) then report it publicly but in a clear way that you discovered a bug and are letting others people know. For example, thatâs exactly what Coltraz did and what I did with the Hazuki egg. The reason for this is it should hopefully cover you from punishment from exploiting something, on top of helping them identify and fix the issue so fewer people encounter it.
Iâm sorry if people here have made you feel bad for your actions but exploiting a bug isnât a good thing so itâs the reaction you should expect. Please avoid it. Donât worry too much about being hated for this. You can see people arenât too annoyed. We can all move on ![]()
This was too long to read but I will comment with one word: Hazuki.
Goodnight ![]()

I will look for this reply in the morning ![]()
We donât talk about Hazuki ![]()
LoL, I have read that all and I am shocked you said all of those. This is borderline crazy.
We were spending gems on a banner that was out. What action in this is an exploitation. We had no way of knowing if the Goliath was even in the egg pool (it wasnât) - so me and @GMagic tested it by both opening 30 packs and got to the same conclusion.
Again, when is opening eggs on a banner a punishable action? On Hazuki banner you all knew that you had grounds for refund as Sunflower was on the image and not in the egg pool, so you all went and rolled and rolled and rolled. We could only guess because there was no real way of knowing what was happening. (Both me and @GMagic âtestedâ it for fun and because we could
)
So please, donât come here with a big lesson about exploitation if you are a face of an infamous Hazuki refund.
Once again - I do not care for those gems spent yesterday - it was a fun day - AND A GREAT VIDEO - but I am kind of surprised about the way some people are treating this as somewhat different than refunds that happened in the past.
Lesson for future - never let people know about some mishaps, errors and issues. It will definitely be a better game when people who care about it will stop giving a F.
My response was not directed at you one bit. Itâs specifically talking about purposeful exploitation of a bug, not accidentally stumbling into it. Sorry if it wasnât clear, but I also specifically referenced how you and I stumbled upon these bugs and reported them to the forum.
This is an interesting example from a legal standpoint! Worth a dive into
Thank you for reporting.
Please check the reward box again to see if the numbers add up.
9 out of 10 times companyâs tos doesnât matter to me.
I donât know much about your country but here in my country any company policy, their terms and conditions, any kind of contract, any nda certificate is automatically void if it doesnât follow the unnecessarily long constitution, and their have been many rulings in the past that have specifically mentioned that exploiting legal loophole or using a term and conditions of a company against a company is absolutely morally wrong but perfectly legal, in the consumer court here consumer has won almost every time in cases like this. Try to understand it from my POV what I did was simply selfish not legally wrong. Thereâs a very big difference between morality and legality.
Yup I know I am not only disrespecting but also cheating in game but I did those because I assumed whatever wrong deeds I will do, devs would be ready to take responsibility for that
Still I will report any kind of bug from next time simply because I understand the situation here
You shouldnât feel bad for that, I deserved the criticism for my actions but no one has personally attacked me, atleast not till now
Thanks dev he got the missing shards. Thatâs what I like the most about this game effectively communication b/w players and devs which most games nowadays donât do. ![]()
There is one slight difference between those two instances, isnât it?
@Dev_VKC I would love to get re-check and a statement that it was just a wrong monster pool and all odds were the same. Because hitting a âfeaturedâ mythic once and then 4 standard pool myths in a row followed by a pity counter does not seem normal to me.
The amount of standard pool legends I got as well. Those were some pretty ridiculous hatches and I have been doing them quite often with such amounts. Other peopleâs outcomes looked similar too. Way too many off banner myths.
Today once again I got a mail with some limited SE and I donât like how rushed the whole clean up has been done without a detailed explanation.
Was is counted once again after people complained they got not enough of monsters swapped (refunded)?
If so I am right that it was rushed and not done correctly since people reported not getting enough at all.
Dev VKC I didnât exploit your mistake - can i pls hab some free mythics too because I was a good boi?
I want it too!!!
1000 gems as a reward for those who donât use the bug ![]()
