Well the art design is a point of serious concern for some people and there are lots of community members who want to leave feedback or discuss it. Closing off people’s ability to do this is a bad thing. However, if it’s going to be a thread with people taking personal offence over nothing or having illogical back-and-forth’s then we might have to close it. I don’t want it to come to that though

This is what I desperately want them to agree to. However, it seems there’s market evidence that the more lewd you go, the more attention you get on your game and people spend to get the monsters. It’s tragic, but it’s the way to make money right now apparently.
EDIT: Oh, you were talking about the Lemon vs Lilithia case. Yeah they could make all waifu overpowered and with more clothes. However, pushing power creep is a separate issue for making money (not sustainable in the long-term). The counter argument is they could make a monster weaker (less of a problem for the game) by removing a few items of clothes and still make the same amount of money from it. Ofc it’s not quite that simple but I hope you get what I mean.
I think there are some lost in translation here, no one intended to disrespect others’ culture or preference. Let’s try to stick to the original discussion and it’s that most agree the art design has gone a bit over and unnecessary.
While I agree tailoring for the market and maximising profits are important. Focusing heavily on waifu would potentially marginalise the market. The game has some amazing monster designs previously, it will be great if they invest some more on them instead.
I will not be surprised if the orca banner out had more sales than the Christmas banner, despite featuring no ‘waifu’, has far more exciting monsters. At least to a relatively new account like mine.
Lastly, it will be great if there are more communication/transparency from the Devs regarding changes and plans ahead. (design, shrine or storyline etc.)

I don’t think that the Waifus being shown on the Festival and increased odds eggs is proof that they sell better compared to the monsters featured in regular special eggs. This is akin to using data to show a specific dish sells the best at a restaurant (fish for arguments sake) and another (meat) sells worse, so they make sure the fish is available at Lunch and Dinner while the meat is available during hours with low traffic. Of COURSE the fish is going to sell better at that point - how could it not? I’m not making an argument, just giving my point of view, and there have been many valid points of view, but the aforementioned situation is Marketing 101 - Know your optimal time to sell. Same reason Candy Corn and Pumpkins sell great at Halloween - noone I’ve ever met walks into a store at any time of the year and requests Candy Corn, but during Halloween it all gets bought out.

These waifus have far more impacting move-sets compared to monster-monsters. Their numbers are actually skewed towards movesets , not the designs. Noone want to miss out on crazy movesets.

This might seem true but remember that for every Cynthia, Lemon, Bastia, Momo we have a Kunomi, Medbie, Lilithia, swimsuit Soul Missile fox girl (can’t remember her name, she irrelevant lmao).
Just like how for every Gorgodrake, Don Rilla, Auraleus and Sakuralisk we have a Noircyon, Mistletorment, Rhinedragon and XYZ. I think they’re all kinda balanced overall!

To be really fair, I’ve never seen an awakened Rhinedragon/Noircyon in PvP but I’ve seen some awakened Kunomis and Soul Missile foxthots. That’s just my experience and it’s not factual evidence by any means
Whatever is the design , people go by movesets ultimately . But there are a few who awaken stuff cos those monsters fit their playstyle.
Unfortunately , it is a fact that kunomi and foxhot are more useful than rhinedragon / especially noircyon from a pvp perspective.
Even in worst mythic comparison , waifus have a little better movesets than monster-monsters. This is the cause of management thinking people like nude waifus
