I debated even making a post about this, but I’ve settled on doing so. Mostly because I’ve long thought that if I could pass the players in front of me, that would be the coolest thing I personally could achieve in the game.

Congrats GMagic. I noticed you get up into 1st. It’s a huge achievement!
Consistently playing over time definitely plays into these top positions but that’s not something to diminish that your overall PvP record is clearly great.
I wish I’d been more committed to grinding during ranked to give you a little more competition 
It’s going to be very hard for anyone to overtake you as long as you keep playing enough during ranked.
It does, but that’s only half the story.
It took me just ~15 months to go from 15th to nearly 3rd.

Yes, but the fact I’m 12th shows how much that factors into things. I haven’t pushed in ranked for 4 years now, so I’m carried by my length of time playing and the years of top 50 / top 100 I accumulated (41x top 50, with only 9 in the past 4 years).
Like I said, don’t mean to diminish the achievement by any stretch. Just making the point mostly to say how it’s going to be hard for anyone to overtake GMagic now! He’s nearly 1.5x what my score is and even if someone were to get 70k score (a top spot) each season they’d need to do that for over 4 years with GMagic not scoring at all in order to match him. Ignoring 2nd place (a sold account), the closest person is 6 seasons behind.
That’s why this all-time score is important to show true veterans. I love how they created those lists last year. And if we are flaunting scores, I just got my 25th top 10 after playing competitively since the start of 2023.
Apparently it’s 26 now. Anyway. Congrats to @GMagic and his long overdue PvP legend status
