DeusXâs case scared me like Giehr. I really wanted Giehr and saw people playing it darkly. But until I got it I didnât need it anymore.
It could be a solution but in exchange they should give him the possibility to do something if there is no stun absorber on the field, for example his stun attack should be able to stun any monster on the field and not just a stun absorber
I have had games in which van sith has been dead weight all the time, especially on CW teams.
In my opinion, Cinder is somewhat more powerful than Van Sith especially because you donât need to have a wide collection of counter paralyzers, but I think they are both at a good level and I donât think they need to be balanced.
Suggestion is that bloodbite skill can be changed a bit to be like Saguine spell/blood drain when Van has no target
If that could be a good solution, something similar to carmillete
I feel like the suggestions here are pulling Van Sith in slightly different directions. She canât be super reliable AND oppressively controlling when she meets the thing she counters.
Coltraz makes a great point about her synergy with stun counters being extremely good and potentially problematic. This has become more noticeable since the buff Van Sith already got.
I personally donât think she can receive any buff or flexibility unless the main game plan is significantly weakened. Doing that might stray too far from her design though, making her generically good rather than a strong counter that might fall flat. As pointed out, unless youâre an oddball like me who runs off-meta stun protection or running something like a CW team there is often at least one target for Van Sith so sheâs not even that unreliable as it stands.
200s seems very short, 300s would be more standard, but I get what youâre saying since itâs so easy to run a stun counter and get a bunch of extra turns.
The second suggestion would probably be the best for avoiding the oppressive part of this design but I donât know if thatâs something they can code.
I think where theyâve probably gone wrong is making Soulantern have 80% speed. Thatâs so soon after you use gaslight that it chains into extra turns for your monsters before the opponent can do much. So another fix could be to reduce the speed again.
Please bear in mind that my nerf talk is not in order to weaken the monster, itâs to reduce the oppressive side of it that Coltraz also brought up. Van Sith might deserve a buff after that type of thing is removed.
Van Sith is oppressive when it has counters but itâs dead weight when it doesnât, I guess if itâs less oppressive when there are counters it wonât be dead weight when there arenât, right? You would be surprised to know the number of times that Van Sith has been dead weight on my team, more than you could imagine, in fact during a part of the rank I eliminated her from my team
Was it due to meeting lots of CW teams or killing off their stun protection before she entered? Or was it just because you met opponents not using stun converters/absorbers/counters?
In ranked, most of the top people I met were using multiple stun counters in their teams. I really noticed it because I was using XYZ.
She is also a huge XYZ counter - because you can run her 5th and then have your frontline chrono monsters safe - they have to use KBN with XYZ or the enemy team will get immediately screwed if they choose to sweep with it killing your chrono monsters.
If you put momo behind her, itâs even funnier
Quite a few CW teams in many cases and some surprisingly without stun protections, probably in other cases I instinctively removed stun protection from opponents because they were really dangerous monsters
I think the speed of bats is fine, but i do believe they should have a death timer on them, 300 seconds also she should not be able to convert bats into bats to reset the timer
I can say that i did have times where she was dead weight but thats like 2 in 10 matches another thing the bats can be sent back or converted to something else which i saw alot in this pvp
Overall i would say she is strong when it works but extremely weak when it doesnt work.
The 25tu stun is useless, i never used it once thats something that could be looked into, instead of making the bats the obvious choice
What if you use a joco to potentially force a target for gaslight? Seems reasonable and still good

Joco would need to be played in FL, which mean you would need to sacrifice a spot for him, majority of games are determined by the FL, So by playing him in the FL you might pull off this combo at the cost of your winrate
