ANKARA deserved more than A reduction of seconds
Totalmente de acuerdo
So… katt will come back?
@DMG_Death_Lord you may find it interesting that the two best persephia users both think that it should’ve been given insomnia instead of sleep immunity
@Killerdog my personal take is that the vast majority of nyx users have no clue how to use it properly and that’s why the buff may seem less unreasonable to some players. I’m not referring to you for the most part since you have a way better understanding of how it works than most. You’re also right that raising the fermata threshold would be a buff.
I should acknowledge that teambuilding for nyx is a lot less intuitive than most setups. Early games with nyx teams generally need a much different approach, which means many strategies that would normally work just fine aren’t good when used with nyx. Imo the most unintuitive part is figuring out the correct way to distribute aggression, control, support, etc. and none of the nyx users I’ve faced so far have come close to getting this right except for @LemonSqueezy and slightly janne but not really. Should any of these players figure out how to use nyx to its full potential (or awaken nyx in lemon’s case) it would be painfully obvious how unwarranted this buff is.
A few things I want to clarify/add:
-
A lot of the previous paragraph was based on my thoughts before the buff. Teambuilding is on easy mode for them now that nyx users don’t need to worry about hard counters in the early game nearly as much.
-
Even with the teambuilding difficulties, it was still S tier before the buff. There’s no way that wouldn’t be the case given the level of success we’ve seen from some nyx users in ranked. There’s also no way nyx hasn’t risen up to S+ tier after a bunch of its worst matchups were removed by having its survivability more than tripled in the early game.
-
Give lemon the last two nyx copies he needs and he’d get top 1 within one or two seasons (1-3 seasons if the buff was completely reverted)
-
I was intentionally being vague about some teambuilding about nyx for my own benefit. For example, I beat janne and gp’s nyx teams earlier today, but they easily would’ve won against me if they had better teambuilding.
You are dreaming , if you want a reply from dev go to : report bug and report a bug and help improving the game , there you will get a reply ,here for nerf and buff discussion only few few gets a reply , I’m not including any f2p talk , but only those few restricted people gets a reply from dev about nerf
When I saw you typing for such a long time I was very interested to see what insight and opinion you were going to share. Instead you gave what is probably the most staggeringly pretentious and rude post I’ve read in a while.
If you’re not going to share anything tangible then don’t bother writing.
I mean, what do you intend to achieve with a paragraph like this? It does nothing other than brag.
You start your post with this, yet decide to complete trash talk the Nyx users with the rest of the post. That’s so illogical. Your choice for who’s opinion bears weight is so flawed you shouldn’t be using it in arguments, let alone your use it as your main point as you often do.
Honestly Duck, I have no clue how you’ve ended up writing stuff like this on the forum. It’s a disgrace to who you’ve been for your years here.
Yeah, I was just frustrated seeing nyx get buffed even though it’s already more strong enough as evident in the pvp leaderboards. I guess the trashing nyx users was like the counterpart of them telling others to simply run slower frontlines so they don’t lose to nyx (both aren’t particularly good arguments on their own). I didn’t explain this well, but my main point was that even with nyx users having major teambuilding problems, it’s still giving them top spots in pvp. That’s already at least S tier performance so I really don’t get why it needed such a massive buff.
It’s also not about invalidating various opinions based on my own skewed view of their skill levels, it’s about how nyx was already super strong and could be even better under the right circumstances. I could go over some of the major flaws in the nyx teams I’ve seen if you aren’t buying that part, but I get it’s the overall premise you don’t like.
For the brief part about persephia, @DMG_Death_Lord was specifically talking about how often it’s used so I do think it would be relevant that the players who do use it think sleep immunity is excessive. I really can’t think of any players besides me and lemon that use it. He also seemed to have misconceptions on whose using it/how successful it is when it is used. That’s understandable because he quit for a while.
Weren’t these people already getting those same positions before they used Nyx and they have used various random monsters in PvP teams while getting top spots? It seems illogical to me to put that credit on a single monster, especially when you have experienced Nyx users literally telling you otherwise (using your own kind of argument here)
Some of them were, but then it just means they’re continuing to have success when they switch to a team that heavily relies on nyx. I think it’s fair to give nyx some credit when their entire early games revolve around it, especially with how important the early game is these days. I know I’d have a ton of trouble in pvp if my early game hinged on the performance of a single mythic that wasn’t very powerful.
I wasn’t primarily basing it off of experience with nyx. If I can point out major teambuilding flaws in a nyx user’s team that they haven’t noticed/fixed on their own, it’s hard to play the experience card. Besides, all I want to prove is that pre buff nyx was already performing below it’s potential. Looking at the pvp reports, that “underperformance” got 2 top 1s, 2-4 top 2s (can’t remember exactly), some amount of top 3s, and well over a dozen top 10s across multiple players.
Isn’t that already good enough? The buff already happened so I get that the devs won’t want to completely revert it, so removing the defense boost would probably be enough. As shown by the data, nyx users can get by just fine with a few hard counters existing. With the shield passive, they’ll have a little bit fewer hard counters.
Because Knockback Random is an extremely disruptive skill, Onyxia is the second fastest monster with this skill, only next to Capybaragon, and is the only monster that has a 1 TU Knockback Random.
While Knockback Random is the primary reason to use Capybaragon, this is not the case with Onyxia. She is a super tanky stun counter monster with sleep immunity, offering much more versatility than Capybaragon and also functioning as a potent attacker.
She can still use Knockback Random effectively with her high speed, but it now requires more decision-making instead of brainlessly using the 1TU skill as her first move 99% of the time. Adding a 50 secs lock to the skill feels like a worse nerf to us. It will also limit the play style, as your first move will always be Fatal Sting.
Can give us an explanation about Nyx? Is the most talked topic and you give us a explanation of Onyxia
He explained up here @DMG_Death_Lord
This game should be called beautiful girl fight, not New Monster.
How ridiculous it is!
@Dev_VKC deviladus will be buffed in the next update?please
that’s funny @Dev_VKC since I’m affirming you won’t reply you replied to the guy , if anyone want a reply from vkc just ask him and I will say he won’t reply then he will do it to prove me wrong
I am not 24/7 on the forum. I do as much as I can even during the weekend.
Stop being a clown and humiliating yourself.
@kabylian enough is enough.
Many times I saw the mods here giving a warning about using this sentence , because its brings fight and discords , what a good exemple you giving when I see you using it as a dev
