Ultimate Challenge Changes??

“high rank”

I might stop after the second gatekeeper. Pvp legends wouldn’t help me progress in this event…

I am pretty much guaranteed the mon, i’ll just bonus it on my own…

For those who doesn’t have sleep team or other reliable team… I’m at 133, and with my current mons I don’t think I can get far. I noticed something though. If I use sacrifice revival, I can get the same buffed enemy mons, and it’s really powerfull lol. Try to put blade crypt after death revenger, at least you can have some fun

edit: reviving enemy mons actually a good strat. I once revived a stromloch and it can carry my team for a while

haha nice thanks

Best thing about this event is I can race through to level 80 in four battles and then just not play it again because I/my team are not capable of going any further. Given the increased buffs (Novabomb fails to take out anyone above Epic by level 70) there’s not really much incentive to carry on playing it.

I prefer the floors challenge.

Yeah, Because this event is so awesome i’m righ now running this team and sadly its more effective than my normal teams. Really, i dont want to too negative at all but to increase the level of buffing wasnt the best idea in my opinion. Ultimate challenge hasnt been the best event in the past but this time its really annoying

Guys… I just came up with a fantastic way to beat the first gatekeeper! This absolutely has to work. I haven’t gotten there yet, but once I do, I’m gettin past that sicko real quick. So, the auto poisoners are the main reason that last biter guys(like me) can’t get past it. I tried multiple things to get rid of them, and finally got lucky with the cheap rhino/puff roulette. But my new strategy is sure to work. Just watch.

The key mons happen to both of the new super epic wolves, Wolfrozor and Cryptblade. Wolfrozor is one of the guys I looked to for an answer to the problem. He looked very promising, with the charge move that can be ramped up indefinitely when given lots of time, which the stun bombers can easily provide. He actually was able to take down one of them, but obviously he couldn’t get it going again for the second one. That’s where I propose Cryptblade comes in; he’ll revive the auto poisoner, complete with the buffed stats, and then he can get rid of the other one, and maybe even deal with a few other bothersome guys too. It won’t work every time, but obviously I don’t need it to work every time, just once. Foolproof, right?

Sounds good.

Wow, look at all those stunners! I bet you barely any of them survived the first few hits though.

Thats the problem though but sadly its the only way with insane level of buffing. Its luck, sometimes they survive with 0,5 hp, sometimes they die from the first aoe of an epic  at least i dont need to waste my own tickets

Stuck at level 71. These teams are too buffed, so the only strategy I can do is deathroulette and pray for it everytime…

Seems good. This would only work for the first gatekeeper and not the rest though.

If you have soulstealer as well you can use that given you have healers for the triple death sentence coming your way. It would take 2 hits to get rid of omega and 3 for flarevern so you would also need a couple of give turners. After that last bite is all you would need…

This event is very vexing at the moment. The buffs the AI have is ridiculous. I understand that buffing monsters helps the computer not get KO’ed easily, but these buffs are not well place. There should’ve been a gradual buff. There’s a difference between difficult and annoying. Something difficult requires well timed and placed strategies and thought. Count Lector is somewhat difficult, PvP can be difficult, the Dojo has some difficult attached to it. These buffs don’t increase difficulty they just increase the number of times you need to hit a monster to kill it. It creates the illusion of challenge.

As of now, I’m doing pretty well as I had to change lineups ever so often, but there’s one thing that scares me. A lot of Legendaries (+9) don’t even scratch certain monsters. Some can’t even scratch lower level (star) monsters. Octovine killed my Aegis in one hit, lol.

Currently, I have to make so many unorthodox lineups that I have to keep track on a notebook. I could make a death revenge/roulette only lineup, but that’s too much luck based. And I’m trying not to use the Nebel/Atra combo. Another thing that I’ve noticed, if anyone else notice this as well, my teams are matched up against teams that effectively counter my team. For example, I try to make a sleep team only face only poison. Once I switch I face a different lineup. However, if I switch back poison returns. And not only does it return, it targets every single threat with pinpoint accuracy. Now, this might be a coincidence or me daydreaming, but I have faced some teams that made me cry, lol. :stuck_out_tongue:

There are a few things I like: the ticket idea and the monster Horrorclaw (Chimera power!). Now all we need are a hippogriff, banshee, werewolf, vampire, giant, satyr, mermaid, and a Chupacabra and we’re set!

How to ?
Bloodfury need 5 charged at floor 131 to kill 1
Then how the wolf do it ?
The ai become intellect nowaday

PLS GIVE ME ONE CROWN FROM THIS EVENT.

I just realized the new geartyrant could bee huge for ultimate challenge, unlimited death sentence could sweep teams.

I’m at level 130 right now. A soulstealer with bloodthirst +4 can’t even kill a 5 star monster unless it is type effective against it

trust me, wolfrozor can handle it, right around 20 charges took them down no problem last time. Definitely helps that this particular wolfrozor is +9  He will need a little more with the increased buffs though… guess I’ll just bring more stun bombers.

I can’t get past level 100  Right now my shadowstalker can still one shot legendary enemy mons and I was gonna build a team around her but it sounds like even dream hunt can’t do much past level 130 so I think I’m just a gonna quit and hope I’ll stay in top 3000 :sleepy:

Relax. It seems to be harder to get to the higher levels this time but i have the feeling that there more people playing the UC than the last time, i think everything above level 75 should be easiliy enough to stay in the top 3000 (last UC people said floor 100 and in the end it was something around 60)
