@INA-Archer yo what team you using?
I do spam spirit shield alot myself so she does as i intend her to then ![]()
@Dev_VKC can you increase cost for sampling teams for “challenge buffed monsters” in the pvp tab to 300 so we can test teams against the example buffed monsters?
Hellooo ![]()
@INA-Archer
What is this Uc most of time I’m playing carmillete, woolala, risu , awakened sivana , is this pvp of uc , even in pvp I rarely meet such teams
Ikr? ![]()
This UC is hellmode mythic spam.
You can’t really call it mythic spam when it’s the specific mythics that do well against buffed enemies. I’m also pretty sure people place them with some thought in their team, rather than shoving them in a random order and seeing how they do.
Im having lots of fun for the 1st time in years even with DR spam UC turned on
Back then UC was more about strategy i remenber when geartyrant was the MVP on this event and the camouflage green bird
Good old days
Nostalgia and recency bias will always cloud judgement so heavily.
At the beginning of the game I’m pretty sure only a few people could compete for a top spot because it required specific monsters to go beyond the first few hundred levels. The options for doing it were extremely limited. Basically it was sleep + death sentence, with some possibility for full token and/or sleep lock. That took less skill too, because it was just dependent on sleep RNG and keeping your opponents team fully locked down. There was less strategy besides people first having to invent the teams. These days there is far more strategy involved but many aspects have been figured out and become common knowledge. Just look at any PvP discussion to see how lots of team strategies are exciting to players at first but after a few months become one they complain about as boring.
Any of you remember when the first sleep immune monster came to the game, Diredemon, and how in the next UC top players were calling for the whole community to stop playing it because it “ruined UC”? That shows just how one-dimensional UC was. Funnily enough, it was actually a good monster choice for many players because the best most people could do was try to win with dreamhunt attacks, since they were the highest damage non-blood move in the game.
I respect your opinion ![]()
For me it was harder back then, very limited monsters to deal with buffs, banedragon was horrible to face , teams where made with protectors/sleepers and geartyrant or green bird has the main sweeper, purify all didnt exist the only way to deal with win was with a charged bloodfury and it needed to be on the end game , iff it was a 5th was super hard to deal with
DR back then was very limited i believe we had 2 DR cloners and 3 DR monsters
Sleep was rng based thats true but 1 missed sleep on a poison gas monster was deadly
Game evolved a lot on some aspect and totally devolved on others ( waifu ■■■■)
Im happy we got so many new ways to deal with UC now
I distinctly remember being very disappointed when I realised poison was a terrible strategy against buffed enemies. Back then the options in UC were limited and my main strategy had been poison. I used Omegasdragon a lot and liked it very much because of the design… Only to realise it was in general a bad PvE monster. Felt like terrible game design at the time, how were you supposed to know at the start that your best high damaging monsters become obsolete later because you face buffed enemies?
A challange you say ![]()
This is FL, but the real problem is the mid-endgame. There are albion, astralyth, gazer, gorgo, orochi… Good thing I use lock lol
Oh its that team
Devs have been putting in diffrent pvp teams as the gate keepers this time around
This one gonna suck lol
For the ones who didn’t know until now: Wraithcaptain’s Morphean bomb does “insane damage” and not instant death so death immunity does not ignore the best pve boy.
Agreed. Dont have it yet tho :c
Also Atlanachia is so cool with Lumimalus ![]()
