Hey guys, as someone who is very strategic about the eggs I pull on I need a second opinion.
Revenarch is finally featured in a 6.1 percent egg but I know that anniversary is around the corner. I really want Rev for his amazing utility in PVE but know there will amazing monsters available in a months time for Anniversary.
I am F2P so do you think it is worth it to try or just wait?
The only worthy monster in this festival is sobeking if already have him then you wount be needing any of the others. If you alreary own malwing sobeking wount be needed that much as malwing is the better of the two.
As for pve the rare egg already contains gear+goldtail and Soul stealer i wount roll for any pve as these 3 are enough for pve.
Revenarchion is brilliant for PvE but if you have to choose between a chance at Reven or the anniversary egg then you should probably save your gems for the anniversary. You’ll get another chance at Reven in the future.
In general, if you have a good collection for PvE but no Auro or Atra then Reven is not worth collecting. It’s a very good PvE monster but if you have good stuff already it will not push your PvE teams much further. Where it goes absurd is with Auro and Atra. Also, it really struggles to do much in PvP so if you’re looking to expand your collection it might be better to grab a monster that is good all round.
Dino I know how you feel. I only ever use him if he’s on the friend list. I’m stuck in offline play and am starting to as well for the side quests. I try to keep my Aegisdragon alive and tanking so that noxegg is safe.
Yeah aegis is a true asset. He is hands down my favorite monster (hence why he is my profile picture). Not as good as he used to be before all the assassinate and venom protector killer moves but I still think he’s very viable. Especially for protecting and allowing other monsters to set up like Nox
Hey sweet someone replied to my reply! Sorry I’m like 3 days old on this site. Yeah he is my only real tank. I’m just curious how does a veteran player like you utilize him? I really haven’t made a good PvE team, I just skip him until he’s in the red then desperate bite.
No rush man I don’t think anyone expects you to reply right away. I’m by no means a veteran but more so intermediate. Basically everybody else who comments on this forum is though.
I had an account when this game first came out three years ago but lost it. I started again last year at this time with my new one. I was lucky enough to reap the benefits of the guaranteed legends for that period and was able to build a decent team out of them. I usually ran aegi with oniblade with the old school One on One staretgy which single handedly won the entire offline story mode for me. I have since then gathered more monsters like emeraldess and the moths which require time to set up and usually pair them with aegi so they can set up and sweep.
I noticed on another one of your posts you’re looking to build a decent PVE team. Try to aim for geartyrant and soulstealer. Those are two of my targets as well. Those two can wreck PVE and benefit greatly from aegi’s protection. Hope this helps. And welcome to the forum
EDIT. And of course Goldtail as well. Basically look above at Mr X’s Prior post
I’ll shoot for those but it’s really all RNG, did I read that you don’t purchase eggs? I’m REALLY trying not to but I’m a bit at a wall presently as I can’t proceed in story or side missions with my current team, and I have nothing left to really level/evolve so I’m at the mercy of waiting for special events and hope I can do well enough to win gems to get stronger neomon… So I have Oniblade I think, what is this ultimate strategy you said won you the offline story mode?
Yeah I don’t buy gems. It’s not worth it with current egg system. Plus it makes me appreciate my monsters more when I save up then get something cool.
You’d be surprised what you can accomplish with only a handful of legends and other monsters. Try using different strategies.
If you have oni just run him in the front with aegis and one on one everything to sleep. Kill 2 with dreambunt then sweep. Aegi with purify your other monsters when it wakes up from a hit. That very basic strategy got me through the majority of offline. I still used other monsters and strategies after that starting line up though but I remember having those two in the front made everything super easy
