They refund paid gems, at least mines

Why not? Sometimes people win money in the lottery too. And in Neo Monsters, why don’t you go asking for compensation when your friend gets 500 gems from the shrine and you get 100?

I wasn’t even awake when today’s mistake happened but I don’t give a damn about it… Why is it such an issue some people got lucky??? Just be happy for them and move on with your lives! These mistakes happen so rarely. And kudos to those who noticed the mistake and purposefully hatched, that was a clever move.

These games are usually unfair towards the players (speaking of odds) so it’s great to get something for free sometimes. @Killerdog you absolutely should not feel guilty about it. The moral of the story is that there will always be jealous people, let them be jealous and enjoy your free stuff . This is just a video game.

Yes, as players, we have no responsibility for official wrongdoing

But there is no denying that there are more good solutions, and dev chose the more stupid one. I don’t think it’s simply a matter of luck or unfairness.

What would be a better solution? I don’t see any.

I actually through that Hazuki had big tiddies until i put her next to momo in a picture

How could u think that😆

I personally feel sad from not benefiting from it on my account , still its fine some people got lucky others no , but not to the point i ask a dev to give compensation for everyone

Give everyone who used gems in the egg a free G.F. Sunflower +9 and when they load in they’re given two options:

  1. rollback their hatches and regain the gems
  2. accept their hatching results

That’s probably what I’d go with… after hours of contemplation. In the moment I would not have thought of this and they obviously needed to act quickly in a way that would avoid them getting sued or something.

I spend over 600 gem before trying to get G.F only to find out G.F not in egg I also wanted to get the doomgoo but instead in all 600 gem I only get fish samurai 5 times and I get no refund I would even get my account rewinded before egg came out .

Not sure why there’s hate on KD pulling during the error and getting lucky to awaken the Mythic within that time frame. Those are gems he worked for by providing us with these guides and informative posts/videos. If anyone has an issue with that, where’s your informative posts, guides, videos? Have you talked with the devs to see if they could work something out with you?

You can’t just point fingers at KD and not think about the other players who PAID for gems to pull. Let’s say I spent $1000 and awakened the Mythic during the error and my account gets reset. If I pulled with that same $1000 worth of PAID gems and got only ONE or NO on banner mythic(s), I’d refund or even sue if I had that kind of time and money.

The devs don’t want to deal with this kind of mass refund/lawsuit mess. Just food for thought.

Then thats why they should only give out the monster that wasnt in the banner and was advertised (Sunflower), like KD said, but not to basically give away hundreds and thousands of gems to everyone who pulled from the banner as soon as it opened up.

I don’t think that’s a good solution. That would defeat the purpose of the gacha. Even though people used gems in the banner and regained them, the rules about the odds applied to them. The only real exploitable thing that I see here was that if you had enough gems, you could trigger the pity timer for Hazuki and gain a guaranteed free mythic.

This is also purely idealistic stuff. I don’t know if they would be technically capable of doing that. All accounts are probably synchronized when online and people might have been hatching on the other banners so that sounds like a huge mess.

I think this can put it into perspective a bit…

Anyone here ever been to a Casino? Or a Chuck-E-Cheese? A Dave N Busters? An Arcade?

All these establishments are places where you don’t use “real money” for their games - you pay ahead of time by buying Chips or Tokens or, for our instance with Neo Monsters, Gems. These items are then used on their machines/within their establishment. You use them to win prizes or more of their established currency, even things like tickets to exchange on prizes later.

Let’s say you used these items in any given game in their establishment that featured a specific reward or specific odds even and you played that game with those rewards or those odds in mind. Tons of people played. Then the establishment comes out and says what was advertised was incorrect. They would then give out either a set number of “free currency” that they use which has no value outside their establishment (eg, Gems) and call it a day.

In no scenario would any of these places just give you a prize instead of the currency. The currency doesn’t mean anything to them - it’s arbitrary pixels in an online phone game, doesn’t cost them anything whatsoever and by giving you Gems for the mess up instead of the monster for free, it keeps you playing, rolling, gambling, as is the motive of Gacha ideals in general - keep the Roller Rolling.
