I’ve been puzzling over this new legendary. Here are my thoughts…
The Abyssoldier summon move seems like one you use in desperation, if you have no remaining Abyssoldiers. The chance of it creating one the same element as Poseidon or another Abyssoldier / monster you’ve got on the battlefield is way too high. I feel like they should tweak the move.
The tweak:
It summons an Abyssoldier that isn’t an element you currently have on the battlefield. Hopefully this will be possible to code. It shouldn’t be abusable because at most you can have 4 elements so it’s still going to select randomly from a pool of 4 Abyssoldiers.
The other tweak I personally want is Ultrawave to instead be Elemental Massacre. I think that would be very fitting for the leader of the solo monsters to have a hate move for link teams.
I’d like to say it’s good to use with a bunch of Abyssoldiers in a team but I doubt it’ll increase their power level to what we need for PvP. It’s more likely to be best in combination with specific other ones.
Here are the combinations I think are best:
- Poseidon (fire) + Myst
- Poseidon + Breaker + protectors?
- Poseidon + Fokus + Boison/AP
- Poseidon + Hill/Poward
- In any combination add Guardian or Antistan, maybe consider Des
I’m not too sure about (4). The damage from confident strike may be low and the 160TU power slash isn’t very appealing.
The other three options, perhaps with the additions from (5) seem pretty reasonable. It’ll definitely have to be in the front line to make it work properly, unless you’re putting it in the middle of a link team and you don’t care about meeting the link condition.
P.S. Bet you didn’t know but Poseidon is the 200th legendary in the game.
