Unless they change stuff that is what will happen. Keeping your customers will generate more revenue over the long term then extorting them.

I would give them until the next update. They say it will be released this month. If they don’t do anything and continue with extorting us then leaving is fine.
Keep in mind that the combination legend is coming.
The main issue is there is nothing to do once you are a high level player except wait for events, which become progressively useless as your monsters get closer to reaching +9. For newer players the cost of spinning and obtaining monsters causes many to either quite right away or start spending money until they reach the position the higher level players are in and then quite. Pokemon go was also released and will likely siphon away much of the new players looking for a Pokemon alternative. This means the game has another 6 months of life probably unless this next update is huge and can reinvigorate the community.
I am certain that you would need to spend much more $$$ on pokemon Go…so i am sticking to neo monsters…xD
People looking for a game like Pokemon will just play Pokemon go and may not notice neomonsters meaning many of the potential new players will not be downloading neomonsters.
Pokemon go is way cheaper than neomonsters though because they give you everything you need in game through poke stops. The battle mechanics and strategy of it are not nearly as in depth as neomonsters though.
Neo just needs to get its act together the newest update is meant to be really big and with all the Comp with Pokemon go it needs to do something to keep new players coming in and keep old ones
Even if they make changes I am not sure it will matter much if the wheel stays the same as many of the big spenders do not purchase anything anymore because they have no reason to. Combine that with lack of new players and the game will slowly fizzle out.
I mean is anyone really spinning the wheel for a chance at a new legend when they already have most of them and are likely just going to recieve dupes with a fractional chance of receiving a new legendary that they may want but do not need.
Most of the games on the playstore now have money oriented to advance.
But neo monster its strange one where the main goal is to collect all the ??? Number of monster, in the other hand have limitation number of monster we have.
Secondly even you alrd spend 10 grand theres a big chance you will get big amount of epic potion 
Just saw update is coming, drafting sounds interesting and more monsters is always nice.
They need more egg wheel monsters.
Yeah that’d be nice for people with pretty much all the mons and it’d attract them to buy gems again
