Hey guys, I’ve created why i think to be a very good lineup. I win every time (save for some stego charc combos and crazy lucky ba’s from opponents). This lineup seems to be the strongest ive created yet.
The army flame beginning is especially helpful in defeating the shadowstalker gremknight chopperbug combo. The first three arent crucial to the setup, so gettig stunned isnt a problem. Personally, I’ve had shadowstalker, vegitiger, and frillzeon killed by a mine spider and still won, so if things dont seem to be goin your way, dont disconnect and you’ll probabbly be able to win.
Scapegoat/siesta/risky heal/ end bringer. After the opponent is stunned with chopperbug, use end bringer, scapegoat the other ark (golden horn, Volcawolf, frillzeon). Once that ark is killed, use siesta with the Mossgolem. If shadowstalker is awake, use scapegoat on itself or Mossgolem. If terrorfish is awake, skip turns, if Mossgolem is awake, just skip or use risky heal to heal shadowstalker/terror. End bringer should come into effect. Rinse and repeat. Even if the enemies are not put to sleep, they will probabbly attack shadowstalker and Mossgolem (scapegoated) , and even if they do kill terrorfish you still have volatile.
I played you the other day! Or at least something very close! Came down to my omega and Angelon against your omega and Shadowstalker that I knocked back. Your SS took out Angelon, my omega took out your omega, then your SS hot two bonus actions and killed omega!
Up to that point it was an amazing match and I was honestly lucky to have stayed in it til the end! You had me trying way to hard to end up with a loss!! Haha
Chain claws are an incredibly common sight. I for one like to occasionally open with a Shadowstalker and Gearwolf. These are both incredibly fast monsters, and can pretty much decimate army flame if matched up in the beginning. Also, there many stunners located in the front, so it can be dangerous to run a powerful sweep team up front. While I agree in saying that they may not be crucial, losing three monsters puts you at a severe disadvantage.
Next, you have a line of four metal monsters in a row…Scorpionix can easily use its Metal Slash to deal some serious damage to you.
Thanks. I see your point, however, the army flame front is specifically to combat stunners, i aoe and destroy any stunners, allowing my shadowstalker and arks after it to avoid any stun. Gearwolf definately would pose a threat, however i have won against gearwolf taking out frillzeon. The Scorpionix. Definately a problem if it comes out at thre right point, i agree, however i am often able kt either metal slash it with vegi or my own Scorpionix. Sometimes i even scapegoat both Barry and shadowstalker so slash is limited to them.
Your starting lineup is almost the same as mine, except i have infernowyrm instead of goldenhorn. It usually deals a lot of damage especially if you get a ba with frillzeon.
For some reason after scorpionix is out Im having an incredible bad luck. The opponents scorpionix always come out in the perfect time for him, usually when my minespider comes it gets wipped out.
Nevertheless i posted this opening lineup in another topic a few days ago and I was doing very well with it, but sometimes BAs and messed up timing screw the whole strategy.
But is good to see the people are getting new ideas rather than, the now overplayed, grem/chopper/ss
Fair enough, but it would still pose a threat. As it stands, this is selectively effective against the majority of the players right now. However, there IS a minority, such as myself, that would have an EXTREMELY effective team against this strategy. As you know, PvP is all about minimizing the combos that work against yours. After all, there’s no “invincible” team.
…actually, I have two ideas, but the monsters aren’t released yet. And I’m definitely not releasing those strategies
…for the first week, anyways. But people will copy them on their own, so meh.
wait a minute I just battled someone with this line-up… I left a Angelon,Luxnight and Dreadwolf (Lux and Wolf at half hp, Angelon full) my opponent had 3 S arks left Triphoon,Mossgolem and OmegaWyrm then he Dc-ed
I think i just faced you, that gremknight definately messing up my lineup, the end was very close, one of the closest battles i had with this team yet.
It wasn’t me man. I am not using gremknight atm.
I just checked my last battles and youre not there.
There’s your post here and I posted my lineup in another topic, so its very likely someone else is running the same arks.
I know Jasnology was having a few runs to try it, could be him.
If you want to double check my GC is the same as my username here.
Honestly, the fire opening is extremely strong in my opinion but the next three arks coming after them are the real challenge. I’ve been experimenting with different arks now and i’ve found a pretty useful strategy against stunners.
I won all the last 6 or 7 battles against stunners. I want to have a few more runs though before posting it to make sure it really works.
If you want add me on GC it would be cool, would be fun to face the same opening lineup, i wont change my arks because i want to have a go agains the fire arm.
